Have probably 20 uscc straps
They are all fantastic, no rusty jammed up ratchets, good thick webbing. Been using them for somewhere around 5 years now

Great quality
Great quality. Finally got some ratchet straps that don't slip as you are tightening them up. Stainless is also excellent. Definitely worth the price.

Three years submerged in salt water and worked very well!
I purchased these straps three years ago and used them to hold a filter in place on the bottom of my dock in the Albion River. They had been submerged in salt water for three years until I pulled them out last month. They were covered in barnacles and a ton of kelp. I had difficulty getting the straps to pull through the rachet and removing them because so many barnacles were growing on the webbing and the rachets. Yet when the straps pulled through the buckles with hard pulling as the barnacles scraped off the strapping and the rachet, they came out of the water looking great. I can use them again next spring when I re-install my Saltwater feed to my Marine Biology touch tanks. There is NO rust or corrosion whatsoever. The rachets have no deformation or bends. The river regularly has high water flow, yet the straps and rachets held fast through it all for three years. When I installed the straps, I also had installed some 1/4 inch stainless hose clamps to hold my pontoons onto the dock, and I just realized this week that all of my hose clamps are gone. With winter coming, I can't trust the hose clamps. Still, these ratchet straps are well worth the extra expense, so I just ordered over 400 $ worth of the rachets with the endless strap to Hold the surface walkway to the pontoons for extra security, as some of the galvanized metal straps are rusted off. Time will tell how these will work over time, but I expect they will be the final solution in salt water.

Not Marine Grade 316 stainless
These are well made straps. I use them on our boat to secure our dinghy. Sadly they have started rusting after five months. I have other straps that show no corrosion after 10 years (but UV is taking its toll on the cloth). If I can't source 316 stainless straps, I may just resign myself to replacing these every two years.

Quality
They work well and we trust them as couriers to strap down heavy expensive deliveries.

No rust or corrosion
I like the fact that they will still look new years from now. Another nice feature is that they lock when they are fully opened. No more handle coming down on the ratcheting mechanism while trying to free spool! They also lock in the closed position so there won't be any accidental loosening. I bought these because I was tired of the cheaper ones that quit working after only a few uses. Very frustrating fighting with them, trying to make them work. These look like they are higher quality, and because they are stainless, they should free wheel easily for years to come. One thing that may or may not be a negative is the load rating is not very high.

BLUF, they don't rust and simply outlast everything else out there.
I own 12 of these and not one of them has a spot of rust on them even after being exposed to saltwater. High quality stainless steel and straps have held up for year even while exposed to direct sunlight on a daily basis. If you tired of garbage straps that don't last a season without binding or locking up these are the last set you will ever need.
