This system is awesome!
I've had the XW Pro 6848 operating here on our off grid homestead for 3 years. It is a rock solid beast - our house acts and feels like we're on the grid. Our system includes 3 charge controllers, 14kw of panels, 30kwh of battery capacity. I haven't had the system fault on me except for when my batteries run down. I also love the InsightHome device that allows for connection to the system by my computer/phone so I can monitor status.

Support When Warranty Ends Non-Existent
I have an older version of one of these inverters. It's a really nice, flexible and well designed unit. Just one problem. Once out of warranty - just 5 years which is far less than the expected lifetime of a solar installation - there is absolutely no support from Schneider. They won't repair it, they cannot tell you anyone who can and they won't provide any information that would allow a competent technician to repair it. If you're happy with a possible 5 year life expectancy go with it. Otherwise avoid all Schneider products.
