These juniper berries are quite potent and wonderful. The package is well-vacuumed and the smell when you first cut it open is downright heavenly (assuming you like juniper). I've used them to flavor wine, make candy, make tea, and add wonderful aroma to meat...basically, all of the things you'd use juniper for short of making gin or potpourri. If you need good juniper, and want more than a small handful, this is basically the perfect way to get it.

Excellent quality product and inexpensive enough I didn’t stop to look at the quantity. Unless you make a lot of aperitifs, gin or gravlax, 1 lb is probably a lifetime supply of juniper berries. Just fair warning...
