Samsung Galaxy A50 Verizon, 64GB Black (Renewed)

I bought this phone as a replacement. I very much like the amount of memory and the phone response time. Some of the print could be a bit bigger as I am older and the vision is not what it once was. I used my phone quite a bit and generally charge it once a day. I have had other phones made by other companies but prefer Samsung products.

Got this as an upgrade for my boyfriend's old samsung j series phone that's like 5+years old and runs so horrible right now. Popped in a 256gb micro SD, started it up and set it up. Came with a scratch or two and light scuffs on top but I guess expected being refurbed or renewed it was expected. That was probably the only downside I had. Otherwise, it needed some updates and everything ran beautifully. I have a Samsung Note 10+ and other than the pen features, it is a really great phone for less than 1/4 the price. I've tested the camera, A/V playback, etc. and you really get a great phone for the price. Haven't tested games but he doesn't game on mobile anyways. This is a great phone. I might get more for my younger siblings who have cheaper phones that don't get this much features and usability.

It's been almost 2 months since I've had this A50 and its definitely worth the $, only way at first I could tell was reconditioned was by the sim card tray. It does some weird stuff sometimes not sure if it's just the phone or that it was used but nothing that makes me want to throw it at the seller, I went with this seller cause the other a50's I was looking at didn't have great reviews and most said had lots of issues. Was also the first phone I actually put a case on and I wish I had added some type of protection to the back of the phone before I did cause being in the case has left small scratches all over the back from being in the case. I haven't really figured out the camera yet with taking close up pictures taking further a way shots are very crisp and look great.

Bought for my uncle who's a elder and he loves this phone. Great quality and great phone all around!

This phone, hardware wise, is pretty good when it works. The problems begin with the software. I've had this phone about 3 months and in that time I've had the same problem 3 times. After installing an update to android, this phone will continuously reboot itself randomly with no warning, putting itself into a boot loop. On top of that, when I attempt to hold down the power and volume buttons to enter safe mode, the phone factory resets itself, erasing all of my information and forcing me to spend over an hour setting it up again. It's done this 3 times, with increasing frequency. At this point I'm fed up. I don't know if it's the fault of Samsung or android, but based on some quick Google searches, this isn't an uncommon problem to have. So this phone is basically useless as a result. There is no known fix. And as for those of you reading this, maybe you'll get lucky and won't have this problem, but be warned that it can happen and when it does it'll basically brick your phone. Be careful and don't waste your money. Also no water resistance kind of sucks too.

I bought the Samsung A50 to replace a Google pixel 3XL.I paid $200.00 for a refurbished phone. It came with a Samsung wall charger and USB c cable.The phone was like new. It took my Verizon sim card and booted right up. I have had the phone for almost a week and noticed that my battery life is far better than the Pixel. Google Pixels are absolute garbage. So far the A50 is faster and handles wifi to cellular data transitions seamlessly. All Smaaart phones are pretty much the same at this point in time, but for 200$ you can't go wrong. If you're looking for a great phone with smoking camera you can not go wrong with this one.

so far, I haven't been able to set this phone up. It did not have a sim card, which I had to order separately. My previous phone was the same thing, and I loved it, that is why I ordered another one the same. Still waiting for it so zi can finish setting up.
