In the future I will open them as soon as they arrive...
I was surprised by the candy... I just opened the box; and, they had a white ting on several of the candies... I guess they were subjected to cold or something. I left them on the counter in the kitchen so they were not subjected to heat or cold... just something gave them a white tinge....

So disappointed
They're hard, when you bite them the chocolate breaks off. They all taste the same. They're all the same color unlike on the color of the box

Glad these were not a gift-melted and topsy turvey in box, even though there are holders
Was torn about writing a review. This company and another confectionary company had chocolates that were both ordered and delivered the same day. The other company's chocolate wasn't melted.-so same amount of time in an Amazon truck on a warm day. These were melted, and slightly dry where they had melted, then cooled off to a dryish powdery finish. The part that I am torn about is that, the insides of them are really quite good. Some of them were topsy turvey in the box. I would not suggest this as a gift, but if you want to enjoy tasty candy in the winter for yourself, this would be a good choice.

Delicious!
The candy is one of my favorites. I started buying them at Target years ago when they were $5 a box around the holidays. Then Target quit selling them and for a few years I found some random boxes at Ross around the holidays. Then a year or two with no luck at Ross, so I went online to Liberty Orchards and found they were like $12 a box PLUS shipping! I checked Amazon and they had them for like $12 a box but when I ordered $35 worth of stuff, I got free shipping. This last order of 3 boxes I got for just $5.86 a box and free shipping! Each box has 15 pieces and so it takes me like a month to finish each box. So, I'm good for a few months.
