These gloves are no joke - very well made, and most importantly, they actually work. I use them for both my fire pit and for tasks like emptying the boiling hot grease tray from my flat top griddle for those longer cooks, and they more than meet the need.

I bought these a while ago, immediately removed from packaging and washed them thoroughly (3 rounds of lathering up with soap, rinsing off with hot water) and let dry in between each washing. They are very easy to clean, just put your arms in and wash like you would your hands. They take a bit to rinse off, rubbing will bring up the soap bubbles, but it’s not bad. As far as use, I use them to pull bread out of the oven and remove the bread from their pans. I haven’t used them for high temp items, but so far they have done well with the steam and heat from the hot bread. They fit well and are comfortable, and albeit there is a little stiffness when using them, you have a lot of mobility to them. I am able to open plastic bags with these on. The one downside that made it loose a star is that it still has that rubber smell to them even after the 3 initial washes, and several uses and washed since. Also when drying you have to dry them hanging up separately or they will stick together and stay wet. Even when dry they’ll stick together past the wrist portions.

Gloves are very well made.Easy to clean. I have tried a few other types that always seemed stick no matter how or what you cleaned them with. These make it so much easier pulling a brisket out of the smoker.

I used it to remove and wrap a brisket. Still felt the heat but did verry well protecting my hands. Best part is that its supper easy to wash. I am happy with my purchase.

Excellent gloves, worked great to grap a huge brisket off of the grill, flip it and then carry it to a pan for finishing it in the oven.

These made handling hot product straight off the smoker a breeze. Easy cleanup. Seemed a little small, but I've got big hands. Overall pretty great value.
