Beautiful plaques
I just received my two 8" round plaques today. Even though I plan to paint them, I still don't like and won't use plaques with knots, as they can still be visible through the paint. These plaques are beautiful - well sanded and NO knots! I am more than happy and will be ordering other sizes from this seller.UPDATE: I just received my second order of 8" round plaques and they were as beautiful as the first two. I wish I could buy such nice plaques at my local craft store (the one that's closed on Sunday), but theirs are always full of knots. Thank goodness for Bright Creations!

not quite circular
Bright Creations, 2-pack of 8" plaques.If both pieces were circles, they would line-up with each other all the way around. They don't.Bottom outside diameter varies from 7-13/16" to 7-7/8". If you're building a Lazy Susan, an 8" bottom bearing will NOT fit underneath this plaque.Other dimensional details are shown in the attached image.The wood is pine. Location of 1, glued butt-joint varies. No knots.Finish-sanding is definitely needed.Many, irregularly shaped scuffs/whirls on the top surface to be sanded.

Sometimes these come a little warped, these were perfect. took a coat of spray paint perfect, I painted them black. My use was to cover up an oversized light fixture hole in the ceiling, drilled a hole in the center and attached the black round to the ceiling.

I used this to mount a coat rack to wall studs. The diameter was slightly less than specified - about 7.97 inches. The shape is very precise - a perfect circle as far as I can tell. It stained fairly well (stain is Minwax sedona red).

Worked well for my project
They are the right size for my project. The only negative thing is that one of them had some type of flaw in the wood about 3” across that bled through when I stained it. Luckily with the project I’m doing it won’t show otherwise I would have returned them.
