Haribo Gold Bears Gummi Candy 200 g

I lived in Germany for years and miss the original Haribo Goldbaren. Not only are the US version much sweeter, but they all taste the same. The German bears each have an individual, delicious, fruit taste. They're somewhat expensive which is probably a good thing because it will keep me from ordering bags and bags of them. I you have had the German Goldbaren and want to have them again without going all the way to Europe, this is a good option. Now I'm trying to find real Italian Nuttella which is less sweet than the US version as well.

My son spent a semester abroad and swears that the gummybears in Europe are better than those in the US (same manufacturer) Prices is great although it took 4 weeks to arrive (as mentioned on Amazon). Personally, i didnt think they were any different although I only eat the red and white ones, but my son keeps insisiting the German version is better. All i know is that if you really like them, due to the time for shipping, you are better off buying at least 2 or 3 packages at one time. I think they had faster delivery but it was way more expensive

This candy is okay. I would never buy these gummy bears again though. They came in the mail in a package and when i received them they were all squishy and 4 1 minute i did not know what they were. I almost threw them in the garbage because they felt squishy soft and very gooey and i didn't like how they felt but when i opened the package they seemed okay they felt like they were hott like they were heated and they were stuck together and they were very hard 2 chew very gummy.

The American version of this product hurts my teeth, probably due to the high fructose corn syrup and other unnatural or highly processed sweeteners. I love how the European version uses non-processed sugars from fruit, plus dextrose. I wish more American products were as health conscious...but alas, what else is the USA going to do with that absurd government subsidized surplus of inedible field corn -- except process it into sweetener and jam it own the throats of sugar addict consumers, or feed it to millions of cows in feedlots to serve the fast food industry.

These should be 5 stars if they were actually the German product, as pictured and described in the listing. I received the American (Made in Turkey) version of the bears, if I wanted these I would go to my local grocery store and buy them. I am sure if you order from a differnt seller this won't happen, but if you select "Goldenleaf" as your seller, you will NOT receive the German variety of these bears, they will be the American ones. Buyer beware, make sure you order direct from Amazon or fulfilled by amazon at the least.

Yes, these are the real gummies and not the fake ones we get here in the USA. 3-STARS due to misleading advertising. The ad states 200 grams while the package is actually only 175 grams. Consider yourself warned.

I have had gummies in other countries and they are so fresh compared to US. I recommend these.
