Works as it should
Works as it should but follow the instructions carefully and read them again. The english translation is a little over explained. They could have stated to connect the neg wire then temporarily connect the pos wire with the resistor twisted on at the end for a few secs.

Don't use the resistor to charge/install
Works great. Only problem I had is it initially wouldn't charge. Followed the directions and used the provided resistor and got nothing. Called the manufacturer and they informed me that they had not updated the book on it and that the resistor is not used to charge, only to discharge. Works great since that was figured out.

PERFECT
Item had a small tear in the plastic coating from shipping and the negative terminal was not threaded properly. However, I am not going to let that take anything off of this review due to I was able to create a new sleeve for the capacitor and re-tap the negative terminal. This thing is a monster of power. I have a Sound Stream T5.2500 running my system and the power this thing reserves keeps the amp at a constant voltage with NO dimming of my headlights when playing even the heaviest of tracks from bands like Sabaton and FFDP. I am a very old school audio enthusiast and with having my engineering background I believe in 2 philosophies - spend once cry once / over engineer it today for durability tomorrow. This capacitor fits both bills to a T.A+ seller of A+ productsThank you for making my system sing - it was my wife's Christmas gift to me this year.

My lights still dim…
I liked the fact that it’s easy to hook up and the lcd screen is really bright and clear. The lcd screen does stay on 24/7 but never experienced battery drainage. With that said, I just hooked it up in my 2016 Kia forte as it was previously in my Tahoe. I’m not sure why, but my headlights still dim. I thought that for every 1,000 watts you do 1 farad. So I bought this 5.5. I have 2 12” kicker comp vr subs and a kicker cx800.1 amp. Everything is brand new so I don’t have it turned up yet… for some reason this thing just doesn’t seem to hold up on the power bank spectrum.

Aight I guess
Its aight voltage seems alittle off or low. Example my other capacitor reads 13.8 and this one reads 12.7 kind of off ill say. One or the other might be off i still haven't check it with a meter so I dont know which one telling the truth

Garbage
I bought it had it professionally installed then the thing would not shut down so it killed my battery in my car by keeping a load Draw.
