TurboTorch 0386-1283 STK-11 Torch Swirl Kit MAP-Pro/LP Gas

It's very powerful and is great for glass blowing even beats my berzomatic ts8000 in heat output by far . The only problems I had were it can be unstable even on flat surface so be careful you don't want this falling over when on full blast or anytime as it can damge the seals and bend the tank it's attached to . It's very loud in my opinion I use a oxy fuel torch on a regular basis and this is much louder louder than a cutting torch I actually have worn my hearing protection lately which is odd when glass blowing. The last is it will consume the mapp gas like no other I have seen . It's really a quality loud and especially hot torch that's perfect in many applications if you can accept the small flaws . I personally love it and enjoy making the most noise most days .....

Was a little apprehensive about two tip torch being awkward or difficult to use in tight places but it performed flawlessly on my first use which was to install a lowboy electric water heater under a shelf in a closet. The added heat made quick work soldering the 3/4" copper lines. The regulator knob allows you to control the heat really well. I purchased the Worthington Cylinders 309336 Universal Torch Extension Hose Kit at the same time and that was also well worth the investment. Allowed me to get the torch head into really tight places that would have been extremely difficult if it was connected directly to the map gas bottle. I am very pleased with this torch, highly recommended.

Very amazing torch for what I do every day as a plumber. Also I loved how it disassembled into a single headed torch for those smaller jobs then can be quickly put back together into a dual headed torch for those bigger jobs. Great product well worth the money, it pays for its self.

Esta es la peor herramienta que e tenido en 5 años ,no funciona como debería, todas las partes están sin ajustar y encima tiene fuga de gas ,sinceramente no la recomiendo .

Torch is amazing! I use it for HVAC brazing and it works great. No problem brazing 7/8" copper at all. Use with map gas and extension hose for mobility. Nice not to lug oxy acetylene equipment around. Very good product and well constructed.

It can't brazing copper hvac works

This torch literally turns copper red within seconds compared to some other off brand torches I had before. Well worth the money.

torch performs above and beyond expectations, silver brazes 7/8 and larger with no problem,recomended for hvac tech's so they don't have to drag heavy oxy/acet tanks up into attics..
