The independent lab tests on this filter do not lie. This filter removes all the common contaminants as well as pharmaceutical and chemical pollutants in the municipal water that are regarded as "Generally Regarded as Safe" I would rather not consume these components and happily made the investment in the high quality filter system to ensure truly clean water for my family.
