Nice vibrant colors! Great for basic starter colors as long as you are not following a DMC color charted pattern. Fine for general hand sewing, freehand embroidery, decorative, etc. Hemmed a cuffed-up pair of jeans with freehand flowers and blanket stitch and has survived several commercial washings. Seems durable.

Colors are so bright and vivid. Quality it great and they are durable. I used them to make friendship bracelets and they worked great

All lovely and beautiful colors. Only downside is there labeling doesn't tell you what color they are. You are pretty much going by eye if you are using this to stitch. I bought these so make bracelets so that is not an issue for me, but if you are going to cross stitch buyer beware there are no color identifications on the labels. They all say the same thing.

Great for someone starting out. You get all the colors!!!!! Yes, some come a little unraveled. I just took a little time to wind some over the cardboard things for floss.

Such a pretty array of colors and great for any kind of craft! Durable and good size. Works for embroidery and fun to use!!

I bought these specifically because someone said they were so soft and they were not fibbing. I did have to gently pull them apart some because of minor glue stickage and others because they had lightly tangled because of the vacuum sealed bag. However I did it with in 5 minutes with 140 skeins. A light touch is all that was required. Did not receive doubles and there is a good variety of different shades of every color in the 140 package. I wanted these because whenever I do a cross stitch, I often switch out the colors regardless of whether it's a packaged cross stitch or a patterned. Couldn't afford to amass such a quantity of colors if I bought the DMC. So every so often I would look on to Amazon and see if something had come on to the market that I wanted. The review I read that commented on their softness and either the same review or another mentioning a gentle pulling them apart because of glue, made these my perfect answer. The glue does not leave a tackiness on the skeins. They are perfectly fine once you pull them apart. The material is very soft and vibrant colors. Just a quick little note: I am differentiating these from my DMC floss using a label maker on each plastic bobbin. G-#. G standing for generic. Seemed the simplest solution to make sure they don't get mixed And to reuse bobbins at a point in the future when I will order more of these.
