Highly recommend this fan...
I’m loving this fan, bought it in this heatwave and it’s been a lifesaver!!I didn’t realise just how tall it would be (not much smaller than me) but that’s actually good because it blows across me at the right height in bed. I leave it on all night without any problems. Other reviewers have mentioned it not being quiet but I find it ok. It’s not exactly loud but it acts like white noise and doesn’t keep me awake at all. I like how you can turn off the ‘screen’ blue light display and having the remote control is a bonus so you don’t have to get out of bed. My only negative is that it’s quite wobbly but it doesn’t bother me enough to send it back. Looks stylish too. I can definitely recommend it.

Good fan with features many other fans don't have, with two drawbacks.
The features of this fan made me to give it a try, even risking it without any reviews yet. I purchased it on Monday and had it at home on Wednesday, via DHL, left in a safe place outside from their own initiative as nobody was at home. Luckily it did not rain like the day before. I mark this as a neutral point. I wanted it asap so I cannot complain but in the rain the cartons would get soaky wet, making them probably useless if a fault developed with the product and I had to return it in the original packaging. This is my first fan of this kind so I was very keen to open it straight after I came home. Beware, either read the instructions first or examine the base and the fan before you put the base together. It is quite fiddly to make the two halves connect, so if you have not pulled the power cable through the hole first, you will have to repeat this exercise. I said READ the instructions, because the diagrams don't show anything about the cable when putting the base together. I have managed it without harm on my hands or the base components. The fan is otherwise easy to put together, even without a degree in engineering. The base plate is quite large, so make sure you have space on the floor for it.The fan beeps when you press the buttons, as probably all do. A suggestion to the producers: simply letting the display blink when changing functions would be sufficient as a feedback to the person operating the fan. We don't need to wake up the other half when changing the settings. There is probably more deaf people operating such items than blind people. The functions are as it says on the box, minus one thing: on stand-by you cannot switch the display off. It keeps shining until you unplug the fan. While running you can switch the display off. As soon as it is finished or turned off, the display shines again, indefinitely. The description to the product saying "a night mode which lets you turn off the LED display" is therefore only half truth. I find this a single strong drawback (hence one star off). Not a happy bunny... The only bright side to this flaw is that in the summer I sleep with a sleeping mask due to early light mornings so I probably won't be bothered with this mistake in the design. And during the winter it will stand somewhere out of sight until the next summer (assuming it won't break until then). That means I keep the fan. This half-truth with the display switch off might turn off other people though. The display itself is quite discreet when not on. I firstly thought I received the manual fan only as I could not see the display. But right after you let the power reach it, it turns on automatically and as described above you won't be able to turn it off.The fan runs quite quietly otherwise. For some reason it is pre-set on the medium power by default after you turn it on so you have to keep clicking to the higher power first and then again if you want the lowest power. I find this a minor drawback as I need just the lowest power function most of the time. This is another food for thought for the designers.I have tested the rotating function. It makes strange irregular clicking sounds when rotating, but I am not going to use this function regularly. I like a constant soft air flow when trying to sleep during a hot night or working in my craft room.Regarding the ionisation (another feature that made me to buy this) I have not noticed much of a difference. Not sure whether I would in any case. The fan is new and working. If it breaks within the first year of warranty I will get back to this review. The fan will not be used extensively as in the area where I live there are not many hot nights, but for those that are I needed something like this: quiet, working and with a remote control.Final note: I think it 'cools' only when it blows the air at you, the movement of air as such. It does not have a cooling mechanism. The temperature on the display only guesses the ambient temperature, I think it guesses a bit higher than it really is. I will probably cover that part of display with some white tape, anyway.

Great looking fan and works fantastically
Great fan, superb lsrge screen which goes off when put on sleep mode so doesn't disturb sleep. Not very noisy at all. Smart slim remote control. Overall highly recommended.

Does exactly what I needed it to
The media could not be loaded. I bought this as I two little ones and worry about them putting their fingers in bladed fans. I wanted something that looked the part and wouldnt be an eye sore through winter and this definately looks good. The settings are nice and the remote is a bonus however it does beep rather loudly when changing the settings which can be a pain if your trying to turn it down when it's in the kids room at night. It is a tad wobbly but hasn't fallen over yet, it appears the top is the only bit that moves and the base remains sturdy, I assumed this was as it needs to rotate (see video) and it is super light so I'm confident if the kids knock it over on themselves it wont cause any real injury. It also makes it very easy to move. The lower two settings are pretty quiet however it is loud on full speed (see video) it is a strong fan and on full speed can be felt the other side of my very large living room, air is also very cold which is nice. overall I'm very happy with the purchase, the only thing I'd change is the temperature shown is quite far off, would be nice if it was a little more accurate (maybe 3 degrees or so out) or they'd replaced it with a different function as it's a kind of pointless if its inaccurate. Screen does turn completely off at night so no light shows just hold sleep button. This will come straight back on if speed etc is changed. Hope this helps

Beware of returns policy. Quality below par.
Arrived the next day even though the arrival date was 2 days after. However the fan is not as cooling even on the highest setting. Also even though the fan on switching on seems very quiet but after a couple of minutes starts to get very noisy. Also when approched for returns there is not pick up facility hence needed to take it to the post office.

Works well but very noisy
It moves air around very well but it's extremely noisy - you can hear the mechanical clunking of the motor which must be off-balance. Strangely, the noise is least offensive at higher speeds. The remote works well but the 'beep' sound when registering an input is very loud and there's no way to turn the sound off.I like the fact that you can turn the LED display off (I have another fan that doesn't have this feature). However, the LED screen is always-on when the fan is switched off, which seems counter-intuitive. You can only turn the LED screen off when the fan is on.Overall, I don't think I'd recommend this fan for the price I paid (£89.99). The build quality and materials aren't up to scratch. However, it performs its core job (moving air around) well.
