I highly recommend giving these a try!
I recently picked up the Kids Summer Academy workbooks for grades 3-4 and 6-7 for my kids, and I have to say, they’ve been a game-changer! These books are filled with fun and educational activities that keep my kids busy and learning all summer long. They cover everything from math and reading to science and social studies, so my kids are getting a bit of everything. What I love most is how engaging the pages are – my kids actually look forward to working on them! It’s been a great way to keep their brains active without them feeling like they’re stuck in school mode. If you're looking for a way to keep your kids sharp and entertained during the summer, I highly recommend giving these a try!

Great Layout and Activities
I bought this workbook for my incoming 7th grader and I really like the layout of it. It breaks everything down into weeks and days. I also like that it incorporates movement activities. I feel like the work is appropriate to build on their 6th grade skills while learning 7th grade concepts.

good but not color inside like on back cover!
like that workbook is created by certified teachers & educators, setup by week & day of summer (week 2, day 2) but inside pages are in black & white not full color like on the back cover - a bit disappointing & not as fun!

EASY TO WORK IT.
For my Grand daughter, another state. BRAIN GAMES is my "GO TO"-WE have 2 sets of those quiz cards ,bought for my daughter when she was little- in her 40's,and BOTH Grand kids use them STILL. THATS why I I buy their books.

Black & White
The pictures are misleading. The pictures show it in color but it's entirely in black and white. And while the point of the workbook is to work their brains...color keeps kids (even a 12/13 year old) interested in what they're working on. I'm very disappointed and my child is especially disappointed.

challenging
I like that this book doesn't just have "busy" work in it. This really got my children thinking and introduced them to writing styles they have surprisingly not been exposed to in their public school system. The questions made them think. All of the answers were not right there in the passages. The start of every week summarizes your focus area and explains topics. I did have to help with some of the math and teach them some concepts that were new to them. The book didn't provide instruction on how to do the math problems. The back of the book has an answer key. There are daily exercise/yoga activities for the children to do. There are fun pages. The only thing that I didn't like was that some of the science pages (Saturday's are for science) required some ridiculous requests. Purchasing plants and/or animals. My son's projects, in the 5th grade book, only required small purchases sometimes (like foam balls and tooth picks to make molecules), but my daughter's 7th grade book required hanging ferns for a project that would last weeks and one week wanted us to purchase fish. If you're up for that, that is cool. We skipped the projects that required us to purchase additional plants or animals. The projects were good, fun and the majority of them can be completed with items you probably already have around the house. I would purchase these again.
