I'm seeing double!
Bargain buy!I used this as a screen duplication cable for my PC setup. It has worked exactly as expected and hasn't failed in any way.

Cheap, well made but…..make sure it’s what you need
The vga splitter is what it is but if your looking at extending you screen rather than duplication it, check you pc can do this first. I had return mine as it didn’t extend the screen to two monitors, just had the same display on both. Workaround was to continue to use the original vga cable for one monitor and an hdmi cable on the second monitor then they were both devoted and worked as a dual screen office set up.

Duplicator not a Splitter !
As splitter this item works well for duplicating, it does not work if you want to use extend which is a shame.

Brilliant
Got a cctv for house. I’ve got a monitor on bedroom wall but system in loft. To mess with settings I had to keep spare monitor in loft but keep swapping leads over. This splitter enables me to use x2 monitors at same time. Brilliant.

Used the opposite way round
Without any specific product information stating that this device will work ONLY to display one video signal on 2 screens I took a punt that it would fulfil my needs in reverse - to display 2 video feeds on 1 screen not at the same time.Let me clarify further if you're scratching your head. The set up I have is that I have 2 computers & only 1 monitor. So what I wanted to do was end the swapping of the cable from one computer to the other depending on which one was being used.With this cable I have achieved this. Both computers are now connected to the same monitor screen. What I haven't tried but I'm sure would work is have both computers on at the same time - probably be a right mess visually and a hard job to make out each computers output.Finally as a word of warning be very careful when attaching the plug with the pins on as they are very thin (probably 1mm in thickness - comparable to a cable with the plastic stripped off) an easily bent especially with limited room for installation.
