I would actually give it 4.5 because it does not glow in the dark, as advertised for the one I ordered. However, my 5-month-old Irish Setter puppy is absolutely obsessed with this ball. She can play with it for hours, but she enjoys it much more when this mom plays with her. It is a bit hard, so when she hits you in the shin with it, it smarts, but still fun. Highly recommend this ball. The sounds it makes crack me up too!

It’s taken a few good whacks and still giggles away like it’s having the time of its life. This is a fantastic toy for my dog! She loves the noises and, though she prefers to play fetch with me, she willingly plays by herself too. So far it seems pretty indestructible (and my dog has destroyed some pretty sturdy seeming toys). Really glad that I gave this toy a try!Update:This toy lasted for just over two months with daily vigorous play. It would still be useable except that it started splitting at the seam. This might be a fault in this particular item so I’m getting another one to see how that lasts because my pup really loved the first one.UPDATE! This one only lasted for 3 days. I will Not be buying it again and advise that others not buy it either.
