Excellent little torch. I’m in love with it! Just what I needed for my gold & silversmithing.I actually preferred to buy Gentec rather than Smith due to the fact that there are SO MANY cheap Chinese Smith imposters on the market that aren’t worth a penny and can be rather dangerous to attempt to use. I got burned buying a “Smith” labeled torch only to find it was a cheap knockoff counterfeit imposter. I really love using Amazon for free shipping & vast product options, but it’s a shame Amazon can’t get the counterfeit “Smith little torches” off their marketplace.The Gentec is even a bit better quality in comparison to recent year production Smith brand Little Torch.

how convenient for a product to last just lo g enough to escape the return window, and to have no information available about the manufacturers warranty.I now have a torch set that I use in my customers homes, which leaks both oxygen and acetylene gases at the regulator connections and, you know what happens when those gases mix at the correct ratio right??Yeah. If I blow a customers kitchen up because of a defective product, the seller is gonna be meeting me in court.

I like the torch, but the Oxygen valve doesn't close easily.
