I grew up in South East Asia where pandan is very common ingredient for desserts. I looked around to see what's available for pandan flavor and most of other brands looked like they were made from so much artificial ingredients. Then I saw this one from Bio Nutricia Extract. I wasn't sure how this will taste since there's only 1 rating when I bought this but I'm glad I took the chance.I mixed & microwaved this pandan extract with coconut milk and palm sugar. I used this sweet sauce mix with crepes and it tastes so good! Reminded me of my childhood desserts.

Although more expensive than other pandan flavorings sold on Amazon, this product’s ingredient list says it has no artificial flavoring. Tried it as a mix to my barley drink (traditional addition for barley water). Taste very authentic, I recommend it, in fact I just bought the bigger bottle variant as that provides better value.

I used to live in Queens, NY, near a large concentration of Thai people and restaurants. Needless to say, I tried any and every pandan dessert I could find. It's one of my very favorite flavors. This product really disappointed me, and I don't want to use that artificial stuff, even if it tastes better, somehow. I used sweetener, but it couldn't disguise the fact that this tastes like Chemicals. Fortunately I bought some frozen pandan leaves, so now that I've tried this and realize how bad it is, I'll just make the real thing with my leaves (while I don't have access to Elmhurst, Queens). Meanwhile, this is going into the trash. I did try it in some cake-like recipes (vs thai-type desserts) and it wasn't So bad, but I also barely used any, so the flavor was extremely faint. Other people seem to like it.. not sure why. To Believe Them, or Believe Me? :)

Ok this is a pretty pricey bottle and I had my hesitations but I trusted the reviews on this product- glad I did because this bottle of pandan extract took me home! Not sweet and smells just like pandan leaves!!

Seems true pandas flavor, very good smell but it doesn’t turn to green color, just very light pastel or you have to add a lots!

Very good flavor and bright color without all the chemicals in most extracts available.Very sweet though, could be problematic for some baked recipes if you are using as an extract.

It's pretty mild. So you'd have to use a lot to get it yo the right intensity for the fragrance. I do like that it is natural.

Flavor was faint, and very light. Beautiful packaging, i had higher hopes.
