Plantronics Calisto 3200 Portable USB-C Speakerphone (210901-01)

I've been using this little guy since October, and am very happy with the speakerphone and its overall value. Initially, I got this for taking conference calls on the road, but it's become my primary work phone since our global Coronavirus lockdown. I've used it with Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting and WebEx, and it always does the job well. Initially, some of the mute and volume messages were a bit annoying, but I downloaded the Plantronics Hub software and was able to change the settings to make the device perfect.

I was having issues with my PC's built in microphone lately, and with working from home and being on so many Microsoft Teams meetings, I needed a better sound solution. This speaker sounds very clear, the mic and all the buttons work perfect... and my team members all have immediately noticed that I sound much clearer. Meets all of my needs, works great, sounds great and at a good price compared to other units. Would recommend.

I really like plantronic products. I work from home and manage executive level meetings at least twice a week. This makes it sure I can hear well and not miss anything.

I ordered this speakerphone so that I would not have to wear my headset all day, but the lowest sound setting is still very loud and I can't put it too far away from me as I do need the microphone. The microphone is so sensitive that I had to invest in a quiet keyboard so I could type during meetings and not have to constantly mute myself to type. Also, I did not realize that the plug was USB-C, so I had to buy a C to A adapter to plug it into my laptop. Overall, I still use my headset, but then switch to this speakerphone after 3 hours of meetings and my ears get tired.

This is the easiest way to get free from a headset without being the person on the call who’s causing echoes or feedback.Don’t let the fact that they call it a speakerphone scare you. (It scared me.) Setup is easy. Plug it in. Choose the Calisto 3200 as your microphone. Choose the Calisto 3200 as your speaker. You can do this system-wide or per application. I use it to meet in a virtual desktop that’s running Teams in MS Windows.The mute button is virtually silent unless you’re looking at the waveform in Sound Recorder. You can see the slightest blip, but it’s not a click like some mics have.

I work from home. Tried 3 types of wireless headsets for my call center job and none worked with laptop sound settings. Decided to try a speakerphone...perfect! Awesome sound quality. Adjustable volume. Light turns red when muted and white when off mute. Clear sound. No complaints from customers. Works for all virtual meeting platforms and call center software. Quality company and product. Worth the money.

Came with USB C end instead of USB A, but it works well.
