Nice stand
The stand works well. The base is heavy enough to be stable. The arms move easily but stay put where you put them. The clips are kind or cheap but work and can be replaced if needed.

GREATLY recommended, add a plate or "ballast" and you will love it... Great Helpers!!!
I cannot totally express how much this has helped me in my repairs and even just hobby projects. There really is one thing I HAVE to recommend: a metal place or weight to keep it from tipping over. I have previously used clamps and just placing heaving pieces of round cold roll stock for the lathe in the middle and that has worked but it's more annoying than anything else this has going for it. The alligator claws and perfect and are prior protected with a heat shrink tubing. Aside from the stability issue, GREATLY recommended

Surprisingly heavy duty
So far this has been very helpful. It's significantly better than the two clip + magnifying glass style helping hands I had before. The arms are quite stiff, which is nice to ensure they hold parts where you want them, and the base is heavy enough to provide a solid footing for whatever you've got clamped. Wish I'd gotten this years ago now.

Good value, a bit light.
Pretty decent little station, I do wish the base had some more heft to it. I found myself wishing it was heavier a few times while working on a project. The little separated cubbies in the base is great for screw and other misc part sorting, and the arms are a bit overkill, but that's not a bad thing. I did end up only using 2-4 for the most part but I can see how some projects might need more if you were using it to position things above the board you're working on.

Poor quality clips
The base and the flexible arms work very well, and I appreciate the large clips with a protective cover. However, out of the 6 clips that came with the product, one fell apart, 2 has cracked sleeves, and when I used a good clip and later tried to remove the clip from the flexible arm, the sleeve was stuck on the flexible arm tip. Would have been a five start product if it has included better quality clips.

Very useful.
I use this to hold circuit boards while I solder them. This works much better than the short metal ones that usually come with a magnifying glass. The base is stable and doesn't fall over, the arms are surprisingly rigid, and the clips have a decent amount of grip strength. It also came with a scalpel thing which is cool, I guess. I don't really have a use for it.The wrench that is supplied to tighten the arms is too large for the base of the arms. It "works" but I imagine if you assemble and disassemble this thing regularly you might end up rounding off the edge of the nuts. The arms do bounce back slightly as another reviewer mentioned, but it is not a big deal to me.
