I bought the 3 mm 28 inch gold plated chain. I've been wearing it nearly every day for 3 months now and it looks as good as the day it was new. I'm no jeweler but the color and luster look like real gold plating to me. I put a very small exquisite anodized titanium handled folding knife on it. I strung a small spring clasp on the chain and snapped the knife onto the clasp so I can take it off if I need to use the knife. The only problem I've had is the chain has a lobster clasp on one end and a ring on the other. That ring was too big to fit through my knife clip so I had to take it off. The lobster clasp doesn't really fit in the other end of the chain without the ring so I had to drill out the hole but it's still tight. Took off one star for that. I can't be the only one who wants to put something small on the chain.

If I can put 0 stars I would. So I bought this necklace 2 weeks ago. Haven’t washed in it. And I take it off before bed every night. Just starting last week the necklace started to break me out on my neck. Me not thinking it could be the necklace I was still wearing it. And every time I wore it, it would have my neck itching. Fast forward to last night. I accidentally slept in it. And let me tell you. I woke up to a rash on the back of my neck which burns so badly. I literally threw that necklace in the trash. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS NECKLACE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREAK OUT! I’d rather buy a necklace from Walmart!

Does what you need. Not particularly shiny or sturdy

I love this necklace I wear it everyday shower, pool beach, cologne and I live in the Caribbean so it’s constant heat and sweat but it’s in perfect condition

I returned this for a smaller size chain. I love the chain but the charm I had didn't fit on the larger one..excellent quality over all. Id repurchase this.
