Fits and works with Acura TL 2003
Update 5/13/2019 - No issues with getting a replacement for the faulty ballast, re-installed the replacement and worked like a charm. My other OEM ballast that came with the car (15 yrs old) just went bad, sigh! why didn't I just order 2 and replace the originals the first time. I just ordered the 2nd one. Do yourself a favor - these are tedious to replace (blame Acura/Hond for that), when 1 headlight ballast goes out, just order 2 and replace botht the orginals at the same time. I could have saved myself a lot of time. I am getting good at taking off that bumper, another sigh!Update 3/8/2019. Well it worked for 5 months. Verified that it wasn't the bulb, swapped bulbs between working and non-working light to ensure the bulb was good. Not happy about having to replace this again (removing bumper is a bit of work, so down to 3 stars - for now. Lets see how fast the new one comes as it is supposed to be lifetime guarentee.Oct 2018 - Fit and worked with Acura TL 2003. When you remove the old ballast, if the gasket is stuck to it, take it off as you will need to reuse it when installing this one. This is not an easy install. You must remove the bumper on the 2003 Acura TL and remove the headlight assembly to get to the ballast. I recommend you watch the youtube videos on this topic to ensure your up for the challenge. I'm a novice and it went fairly easy and took about 3 hrs total. I replaced the headlight assemblies and other bulbs as they were 15 years old. You definitely want to replace the blinker and mini bulb if you've never done it before. They are hard to get to without taking off the bumper and headlight assembly.

This saved an incredible amount of money
When my left xenon headlight went out it was properly diagnosed by the dealer as the failure of the ballast. Their estimate for part and labor was $1100. The labor portion was $135 per hr, about 3 hours. So they were charging $6-700 for the ballast. After checking several reviews it turns out that all dealers seem to wildly overcharge for this item. I purchased this one on Amazon for a total of $90 after including a new Xenon bulb (just in case) and a bag of plastic setting clips. I took it to the dealer where it was installed for $209. The part did the job - so far at a savings of $800. This was a clear no brainer plus this arrived the day after the order. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 starts is because I’ve only had it a week. I will revise if there are any problems. Really a good purchase all the way around. So after 5 months, absolutely no problem. The ballast and the bulb are functioning perfectly. It’s really 5 stars

Worked/Fit Perfectly on 2009 Nissan Altima
I started having problems with one of the HID headlights on my 2009 Nissan Altima. At first I thought it was a blown bulb. So, I replaced the HID bulbs but the problem persisted. As I investigated, I determined that the Ballast might be the cause of the problem. I took a chance and purchased the drop in replacement HID Ballast from GWA Auto Parts. The part arrived in a very prompt manner and it took me approximately 20 minutes to install (I knew exactly which screws to remove). To my SURPRISE this fixed my problem and the old headlight bulb even worked. This was a quality, drop-in replacement for the OEM HID ballast for my 2009 Nissan Altima.

Replacement for my s2000
My igniter went out on my s2000 and the dealer charges 300+ for one igniter. i decided to try this out and for the money it is well worth it. the only cons are the rubber seal that goes to the ballast didn't fit and the connector felt cheap but you get what you pay for. I did depin the connector and installed the OEM Seal and connector from my old igniter. perfection solution for someone looking to save some money. it has been a month and no problems

So far so good
Saw a few reviews where the product failed shortly after install but I have to wonder if that was another type problem that caused the original failure and not the new part. Quoted 1000 dollars by the repair shop to fix headlights and that’s probably what the book says it should be. Can’t imagine what the dealer would charge. All In using new bulbs less than 200 and it took my son and I two hours and we were going slow and steady. I know this fits a few different models so it takes a little common sense to complete and a tip would be that it comes with a connected harness that you may or may not need to use so that’s a potential confusion point. But pretty plug and play and didn’t electrocute anyone. My guess is the repair shops use the same aftermarket parts and charge for dealer supplied

Costs 1/10th the price of OEM Nissan ballasts.
It was an enormous headache to switch these out in my 07 Murano, but I got it done, and so far so good. They work perfectly. Time will obviously tell how long they last, but for the price, it really beats the $595/piece OEM Nissan option. An independent shop I use regularly mentioned after markets don’t last long at all, and I trust them. But I couldn’t stomach paying almost what the car is worth, just for headlights. But they are solid ballasts. They look just like the OEM Nissans I pulled out. I didn’t use the black cord because it wasn’t plug-n-play for the Murano, you would have to do some wiring, so I passed on that and used the bulb connector wire with the ballast and used a new bulb. Comes with new rubber seal which is cool. Again, time will tell, but so far so good.

DON'T BUY IT‼️
I purchased this on May 3, 2020, first let me say it took them forever to ship it to me so it wasn't shipped on the date that it said it was going to be shipped. I got it installed and it fitted perfectly in my 07 nissan maxima and I was happy that I didn't have to pay over 200 dollars for one. 5 months after purchase it went out and I'm pissed about it didn't even have it a year and I've been calling and sending emails and nobody is responding to me. Just because that price looks good doesn't mean the part is good I believe they sold me a already used one because there's no way that this part should have went out within 5 months of buying it.
