Good book, precursor to the Star Wars movies

This comic has good quality. Love it

I love comics but in reality I am not a fan of Marvel and DC style comics with all the superheroes and non-stop fighting. Love the illustrations but there it stops, so to see this one has been a breath of fresh air. Having grown up with European style comic books I'm biased but I think this book is superb and loved reading it. Still on with the other books in this collection, but have to pace myself as too much of a good thing can put you off or make the stories too predictable. If you're a continental type comic book fan, this one is for you.The background information is interesting too, although I tend to skip through these but should be comprehensive for the want to know it all readersThe books themselves are well made and don't drop to pieces after a first read, so it's good value for money

A slow start to the series, but interesting to see how it started.

Like most of us in N. America, was not familiar with European Sci-Fi comic history. With the imminent release of Luc Besson's movie adaption, I wanted to read the back story origins of this eye popping movie. This hard cover collection translated to English is gorgeous, and is a must have for fans of sci-fi. Unknown to me, this story predates Star Wars which seems to have borrowed a lot from Valerian's universe. Great stuff !

Wir leben im Jahr 2021 und ich wünsche mir von den Verlagen und Buchbindern eine moderne, coole Art die Einzelausgaben die hier zusammengefasst sind besser von einander zu trennen. Es muss nicht unbdeingt ein Register sein, aber evt doch eine spürbare Kante oder Trennung. Lasst Euch doch Mal was einfallen. Das gilt aber ganz allgemein. Also einen Punkt Abzug für die Usability.
