Midnight Black Browband Headstall with Split Reins Full Horse Size

Fits my haflinger perfectly !Super classy bridle for a reasonable price

This head stall is large enough to fit my big-headed mare and seems to be sturdy leather. It is good looking & the dye is not wearing off on my horse. Was a bit stiff to start but softening up some now after leather conditioner. The conchos are cheap & one came off immediately with handling to attach the bit. Cannot be reattached. Also the Chicago screws are very short so I replaced them with leather ties. Over all, though, I am happy w it and would buy again.

Surprisingly well done! A good value. A bridle at this price is generally not the best quality, but this headstall is well done. A good weight. Nice reins. It is a little stiff, but with a little oil and time to soften up I believe this is perfect.

Love this. It’s so pretty on my Appaloosa and works perfectly with the hackamore I bought separately. It’s well made and sturdy.

Adjusts to fit small to large horses

I have a very majestic black and white Percheron cross and was looking for a new black leather headstall for him. I discovered this and couldn’t believe the price, especially since it includes split reins! Although I love it, there are a couple of minor problems that are the reason I only give it four stars.First, the leather is good quality but not as soft as more expensive head stalls I have purchased. This is not really a problem as you can condition the leather and with time it will get as soft and supple as you like. Particularly the split reins are a bit stiff. As I use loop brains, this was not an issue, especially since I felt like I was getting them for free given the price.Second, the pictures are misleading. The brow band does not have a dedicated circle for the Concho in the middle of the forehead. Not a big deal, but not as special and unique as the design in the photo.Third, the conchos were definitely cheap looking and not manly enough for my horse. One of the conchos did not even match the others! I replaced them 1.25” conchos I found on Amazon and I’m now very happy.
