I like it but I wired differently.
It works good and I like it but I have a few comments. The instructions say to connect the green wire to the reversing lamps (the wire in my kit was blue). I don't know what it is for because when I applied power to it, the only thing it did was toggle the screen view between camera 1 and camera 2. I left it loose. They say to wire the device so that the screen is always on with key power, and the camera is only on when in reverse gear. After shifting, there is a one-second delay before the picture appears. This is not too bad but with the camera off, the screen is an annoying bright blue. It can be left off until needed by wiring it into the reverse circuit along with the camera, but when powering up, there is a 4-second delay before there is a picture. This is too long for me to wait after having shifted and am ready to go. So, I wired both the screen and the camera to be powered when the key is turned on. This gives plenty of time to get a picture before I start to back up. The screen is never blue and I have vision behind me in any gear. When I am through wanting to see behind me, I simply touch the power button and the screen goes black. Another touch brings back the view after only a 1-second delay. The mirror is plastic which does not give a glass-quality image but it keeps the weight down so the display has less tendency to tilt down when driving over bumps.

OK for the price.
This product works fine. I had it professionally installed on the back of a Toyota Tundra by the Geeks and have no functionality issues. Some things I like:1. The monitor and rear-view mirror are separated (monitor on left, mirror on right), but housed in the same body.2. The color image is sharp.3. Distance markers are overlayed on the display4. The night view is a quality infra-red image.Things I don't like:1. The rear view mirror is not glass, so the view can be distorted if the housing is tweeked.2. When you shift out of reverse, the monitor goes to blue-screen. I wish it would just turn off.3. Make sure the installer connects the camera to the right input (there are two: AV1 & AV2). Otherwise you have to manually switch to the right input every time.I'll keep it and enjoy it!

Nice combination
I just had the DPM430 camera with Mirror Monitor kit ($69.99) installed professionally on my 2011 Santa Fe. I started to install it myself but found I did not the have the expertise to remove all the paneling and do the hard wiring. I brought it to a local audio shop and they had it done in just under an hour for $129.00. I had them mount the camera a little off center about 2 to the left of center, above the license plate as I have a bicycle rack and if the camera were mounted directly in the center I would not be able to see at all as the bicycle rack would cover the camera. I seldom use the bicycle rack but when I do, I will still be able to partially see when backing up. I am using only the Mirror Monitor of the DPM430 kit but have it connected to the "Esky EC170-07" Waterproof Car Rear View Backup Camera, 170 Degree Viewing Angle ($18.99). Both were bought from Amazon. The Esky has a smaller footprint than the one that came with the DPM430. The DPM430 camera is a "bullet" style camera, is larger and a hole would have had to be drilled. The Esky EC170-07 had very good reviews. Both of the cameras have the distant lines which is what I wanted. I have only had it a couple of days but am very happy with it so far. The mirror snaps over the existing mirror and looks fine (holds fine to the existing mirror). The left hand side 1/3 of the mirror is the monitor and is very good. The right 2/3 of the rear view mirror is reflective but does not appear to be real glass and I give it an 8 out of 10 for being as good (reflective) as the mirror that came with the car. The monitor 1/3 side activates when you put the car in reverse... takes possible a second to appear, very quick. The monitor has adjustments for color, contrast and brightness. Overall I am happy with my purchase of the Esky EC170-07 Camera and the Mirror Monitor that came with the DPM430 kit. The reason I chose this mirror monitor is that all the reviews for other mirror monitors with the monitor "behind" the mirror (under $100.00) were not good. I am sure the ones priced $400.00 to $600.00 are fine. Most everyone's reviews complained about the mirror (those under $100.00) not being very reflective and were dark or tinted when being used when driving. I like this combination of the monitor being separate from the mirror even though the mirror is not perfect. Very good (had it professionally installed)
I paid $175 to have it professionally installed (mounted under the rear bumper). It works great. I really like being able to see RIGHT BEHIND my bumper (good peace of mind when backing up).

Zero Support Documentation
I paid to have this installed. The screen rolls and is worse when the engine is running. The documentation does not even include a website to inquire for solutions let alone a toll free or paid client services number.

Overall I'm happy with the product and price
Overall I'm happy with the product and price . Previous one I purchased was pretty much useless during day-time. This product works reasonably well day and night.Couple improvements needed though : 1. ~3 seconds lag for screen to be turned ON is pretty annoying sometimes, esp. If camera is activated based on reverse light 2. Night resolution is poor and could be improved , but not a deal breaker considering the cheap cost .
