Firstly, I am a amateur photographer. I purchase the Lilliput monitor for the size of the screen, screen brightness and focusing aids to help me with composition and focusing. I use it exclusively for photography. I have poor vision and the 7" monitor is a great help with macro photography. In my opinion, it is well build. I like the rubber edge-guard protecting the outer edges and the hood. Also, like the clear markings of all ports and controls. Menu is not too complicated and I found it easy to operate. Bottom line, this is my first off camera monitor I ever purchase / used and I love it. The Lilliput 7" monitor provided me with all the features I was looking for at reasonable price.

Very nice, very clear monitor. It does exactly what you’d expect, plus more! This monitor has amazing features such as a histogram, a volume level to show you the level of volume that the mic is picking up, and more! I wish that the center marker was bigger, but the size will do alright. The layout of the buttons is just perfect, and the function buttons are a very nice addition. The HDMI in/out ports are on the opposite side of every other monitor I have ever purchased, so I had to flip the image through the monitor, which is no big deal as it has a 1/4 inch mount on the bottom and the top. However, the rubber case that this monitor comes with can only fit on one way, and has the Velcro to attach the sunshade built in. Therefore if you flip the monitor and want to attach the sunshade, you must attach it upside down or only do the Velcro on the side, which is very flimsy. The sunshade it comes with is also very low quality, and I don’t use it.

I was searching around for something on the cheaper side to complement my Atomos Ninja V and this monitor is exactly what I was looking for. The build quality leaves a little to be desired but for this price this has got to be one of the best out there.I would absolutely purchase again.. the *only* complaint I have is that the battery plates are a little tight for both the Sony and Canon batteries but I imagine that'll loosen up over time.

Power cord not long enough, power plu dangles and an extension cord is needed. Most frustrating of all the threaded portion of mount is not long enough to pass through rubber protector and still engage threads. Had to buy another mount and another power cord.Buy something else.

I am very pleased with the Lilliput 7 inch monitor. It was complete and set up very quickly. I have mine mounted on my Nikon D500. Included in the accessories, but not listed any where in the instructions, was a small envelope containing an allen wrench and a threaded stud. Can anyone clarify for me what these are for?Thank you

Bought this based on reviews. What a POS. It worked fine for all of ten minutes. The the screen turned on and off on and off. I thought maybe it was the AC power cord so I used one of the battery adapters. Worked fine for 5 minutes this time. Then did the same thing. Apparently when it does this it stops the recording to the camera as well because it’s was now missing footage. I kept trying different plugs and cord and gave up. THIS THING SUCKS DO NOT BUY!!!!
