Simple and easy to use for making "baby" rice balls
My granddaughter started eating solid food and loves rice. I remember watching my stepdaughter using this to make rice balls for her son a couple of years ago, and it was so neat and simple. It's so easy to use, as long as your rice isn't too "dry", or the balls won't hold together. The included paddle is handy to stuff the rice into one side of the baller before closing it and simple shake it to roll the rice into a ball. It keeps your hands clean and you can also either mix in furikake or other flavorings before or after rolling the balls. We just hand them to her one by one or my granddaughter loves to just grab the rice balls with her hand and eat them herself. It's convenient, since it's so fast to make and actually kinda fun to use.

Cute and easy to use
These come out really cute. I used Jasmine white rice that's cooked in a rice cooker and it was perfect. They are small but my 2 and 4 year old loved them. I put it on the top rack of my dishwasher and no issues. But the hinge is not strong so I can see how this can easily break.

Easy! Kids love it
It's exactly what it's meant to be, and the kids love it. It takes a little experimenting to get the amount of rice right, but then it works great. Will be using this for lunchboxes! Easy to use and wash by hand, but it does feel a bit flimsy and I worry it might be easily broken, but we'll see.

Doesn’t work
This thing didn’t even work lol. I tried it with different kinds of rice soft and hard. It never made a ball

Does the job!
The media could not be loaded. I used jasmine rice for the rice balls. I did try with rice and salmon mixed together but the pieces of salmon kept the balls from forming! The feel is cheap and slightly flimsy, but I don’t think that takes away from the overall rating. I think they get the job done and that’s what matters! For use: I sprayed with avocado oil before placing sticky rice. Too much/little rice and the balls won’t form.To clean- I’ve just put it into the dishwasher or hand washed when I had time.

Works
My 2 year old and 6 year old get so excited when I make them rice balls. Also I notice less mess when they eat rice this way. Not dishwasher safe as I put in the dishwasher and it melted and had to rebuy again. But not a deal breaker, easy to clean.
