Excellent setting lotion that can be diluted with water
I found this setting lotion being used by a YouTube influencer although I don’t remember her name sorry. You can dilute this setting lotion with water, but I find it better to use it full strength, but that’s just me as I have fairly thick course hair.My hairstyle is short and spiky so after I dry my hair using this setting lotion, I also use bed head paste, which keeps my style looking, smart all day. Excellent product.

Super thick, naturally wavy - hold my rolled curls for 2, sometimes 3 days.
I saw this product come up on a black girl's hair forum and it had rave reviews and it was almost universal that this is the go to product for setting rolled hair. I'm white, but I have incredibly thick, naturally curly hair that cooperates occasionally and never when i need it to. Since I use velcro rollers a few times a week I was looking for something to help keep the shape so the curls would last longer than a few hours and pump up the volume of the curls (not my overall hair, if that makes sense). I don't know if this made specifically for black hair but when I've saw it at Sally Beauty it was in the black hair section.I'm still not sure if it's supposed to be used on white people hair in general, but I am 100% positive it works on mine. First few times I used it I diluted 3-to-1 as instructed and I was amazed at the result. Then I got a little brave and mixed the next batch with slightly less water. Don't do that! Unless you have enough hair for 4 or more people follow the instructions to the letter. The 3-to-1 dilution is perfect. When I sleep in my rollers I use a satin bonnet to protect my hair from cotton pillowcase. The cotton pulls the moisture out and causes frizz. On the nights I don't sleep in the rollers but want my curls to last until the next day I also use a satin bonnet to protect them. With Lottabody Setting Lotion I can get 2, sometimes 3 days out of my curls. I use a mix of small to medium to large rollers all over my head and the best results are with the smaller rollers. The larger curls I don't think will ever hold for very long but that is due to my own hair, not Lottabody.I am so happy I found this product. It has been a gamechanger for me and has saved me so much time not having to roll my hair every night if I want bouncy, soft curls that stay.Next I'm going to try the 5-in-1 product by Lottabody. Heard good things about that as well. Will post results.

Quite Surprised....
I have bone straight hair that hates holding a curl, yet I try new things hoping they work. I used this lotion at the dilution recommended for color treated hairs. I had clean hair, very slightly damp that I then spritz with the lotion blend. Rolled them up into my classic pink sponge rollers and slept on them until morning.I really enjoyed having soft curls the next morning that weren't crunchy from mouse or gel. I did gently spritz them with hairspray before removing from the rollers. The curls stayed in strong for a majority of the day, there was a little relaxing in the last hour or two of work, but they still looked fantastic. Was not bad for having soft curls not weighed down by containers for product.Highly recommend if you have stubborn hair that refuses to hold a curl. Very happy to have found this product.

Brand has been around a long time
Product speaks for itself been around a long time. Moisture level is good it lasts forever when used properly lightweight and hold hair nicely the scent is good it's a concentrate that needs to be added to water to make it thinner not so thick. Used for hair not skin.

For fine hair - it's a miracle!
After too many years, I finally found "it." When I was in beauty college too many yrs ago, we used a setting product that held and was even good for fingernails. Never found anything even remotely close - until now. My hair is very fine and thinning and Impossible. FYI Lottabody is more of a liquid than a gel. It gives a good solid set, hair isn't as susceptible to humidity, does not leave residue, and leaves a nice shine. I do have to respectfully disagree with those who say that you can't use curling irons and also with the dilution. I'm sure it depends on your own hair, but this is how I use it on my own problem hair: First, I only add only a small amount of water to dilute, then spray this on damp hair; blow dry until about 80%dry; curl with curling iron; spray with a fine covering of hair spray; then sleep on it (I have short hair). The set stays in at least 3-4 days and looks healthy and shiny. Please don not quit making this!

Trying Vintage Hairstyles? Get this!
I've been using this stuff to do a simple vintage foam roller set for a page-boy type of look, I don't know how I've lived without it! Lottabody worked well when I had thick, undyed Asian hair and also my now bleached and a bit thinner hair. With my virgin hair I'd use a high concentration, but now I use a 1 part setting lotion: 4 parts of water and just dip the foam rollers into the solution and lightly saturate the hair before rolling it.I'm not at all great at doing hair, but after some lotta body and chucking in some foam rollers.. BAM! Great looking hairstyle with 30 minutes of effort.-after brush out, hair is so shiny and smooth-style last for days-nice, subtle fragrance-bottle lasts a long time

lotta body setting lotion
I definitely did not like this setting lotion. It left my fine hair very oily and very ugly looking. The next day after I rolled it it went totally flat. I will never bother to order this stuff again. I am a hairstylist for 31 years and I use a freeze and shine spray when I roll it and I get enormous long lasting body and not so dry looking. I wasted money purchasing this slimy gel. I will definitely stick to what I have been doing for years because it works.
