I have an immune deficiency and not much of an appetite, so I drink these a couple times daily. The chocolate is really good and its more of a treat for me. My health seems better as long as I drink these and take my natural supplements.I've now got them on auto ship once a month. It's very convenient and I can't beat the cost elsewhere! I'd recommend them to anyone who needs the extra nutrition or has problems eating. The auto ship works great and saves quite a bit of money each month!

My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and while on chemo, he had lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks and we had to try and get some weight back on him quickly. Never having tried any of the high calorie drinks, I picked this one and ordered a case and I was lucky to get the best on my first try. The price was very reasonable, the drink was delicious and stayed down, and it was delivered right to my front door (and when you are dealing with cancer, chemo, drs and hsp constantly, anything that arrives at your front door is a blessing.) I have since ordered another case of vanilla. We mix the drink with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and make a shake and my husband can finish almost all of it without throwing it back up. He has regained about 10 pounds and at least is not losing anymore. Radiation is next and I hope the side effects are less than with the chemo, but we will stay on the Ensure just in case.

As most probably know, this liquid nutritional beverage is often used in hospital settings to provide approximately a third of an average adult's nutrient needs. I have purchased this for an individual who often has time in eating all his meals, but is able to consume this eight ounce serving product. One may think of this as a replacement for one of the proverbial three daily meals. Of course this is not a substitute for eating a balanced meal containing fruits, vegetables and whole grains, all of which add essential soluble and insoluble fiber to the diet. But for the purpose I noted above, this is a tasty and affordable product. Another particularly well liked flavor is Butter Pecan, but often is more pricey as it is generally sold through marketplace vendors.

I have used this for years and it is always consistent and, best of all, it really works. At one time, after a cancer operation on my mouth, it was all the doctor would allow me, besides normal fluids of course, and I was fully nourished. I recommend this for anyone who needs nutrition either as a supplement to your regular diet or as a meal all by itself.

To make a long story short, I'm living with several gastrointestinal issues. Sometimes I can't eat solid foods without a lot of pain so I drink this to balance my nutritional needs and satisfy me when I'm hungry. Usually I have one for "breakfast" and another one that I sip on several times during the evening hours before going to bed. My doctor said during times I can't eat solid food drink at least 4 a day as well as other liquids like broth. I wouldn't want to live on this stuff for very long periods of time because of all the sugars and oils but it really helps when I need it. I love the Chocolate flavor. Just drink it cold and shake it well. Very tasty. This 16 count case is the best deal I've found anywhere. Hope they don't raise the price because Amazon makes it affordable for me.P.S.....my husband has started drinking one a day and says it's very tasty. He's hooked. He's tall and thin and loses weight easily (don't you just hate him...lol). Now that we're so much older we want to keep what weight he does have, on him without resorting to eating high fat junk foods.

These helped me get through wisdom tooth extraction (all 4). Quite tasty, reminds me of the "chocolate drink" I used to drink as a kid in school, though judging from the nutrition facts label these are healthier. There are probably better alternatives out there with less sugar, but I'll vouch for these if you suddenly find yourself unable to chew for a week. Also it should be noted that they reduced the sugar content from 22g to 15g, the pictures of the nutrition facts on Amazon's store page are outdated.

my mom chugs these like nobody's business. seriously, she knocks them back like they were $1 PBRs at a dive bar.the sturdy box is a convenient package of sixteen bottles of chocolate ensure. the bottles are superior to the cans in that you can put the lid on them instead of leaving it open to air. also, the chocolate flavor, while still nothing like a true chocolate shake, isn't bad and does not have the aftertaste that the other ensure variants have.

I have been told my doctors I should drink this since my metabolism is high and I have trouble gaining weight plus my vitamin needs are not met dietary! At first I was reluctant because I served it to the elderly during my nursing career. But I found the milk chocolate and I love it..PUt it in the refrigerator and it is just as good as a shake! I have been drinking it for about two years.I just wish it wasn't so expensive and it came in 30 count for daily use.I got it on time as ordered. I am buying it though the subscribe and save and saving a few dollars. The packaging could be less bulkier. It is put in a box bigger than the case. I keep thinking it could be just be wrapped with brown paper.
