My husband has worn Red Wings for years and decided to try these after two years of leg pain, foot pain and ankle pain. His feet and legs feel much better. He said they are way more comfortable than his old brand and wished he would have bought these years ago. As a sheet metal worker, in his 60's, he is on cement all day, lots of walking and going up stairs that can be slick. The soles on the boots really make a difference. He loves these boots. Great quality, look nice, super comfy and great value. No complaints!

These are made with high quality leather and soles they look great they fit true to size they aren't super heavy and they are worth the price

These boots are the best money can buy. skipped buying a new pair last year on a Black Friday sale but made sure to buy this year. This is the 4th pair of Thorogood boots, my 3rd pair of 1957 series. The boot in the pic is 3 yrs old never oiled or polished worked the original sole off of them had them locally re-soled still going. I have tried other models but I returned to the 1957 waterproof, insulated they’re warm in the winter, cool in the summer (Florida) and a great riding boot on my motorcycle. High quality Union made boot well worth the money. Not sure why the other folks had issues I am quite sure Thorogood would stand by their product if in fact there was a flaw in the Manufacturing. To many pros to complain about my tag has a stain on it etc…. Highly recommend to purchase. Fits comfortably great looking and durable American made boot.

The fit is spot on and they're comfortable for a work boot. The materials used are top quality. If I had to pick out something that I think is lacking, it would be the laces. They're too short and too thin. The sole isseems like it might wear out quickly and the tread isn't that grippy on surfaces like grass or soil. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would buy them again.

Boots are absolutely beautiful. Opened the box and they were absolutely pristine. The laces are light weight but feel durable. The stitching on the soles are superb. But, when I pulled the tongue back I noticed immediately that there was some sort of oil or something that were stained on the tags. They won't be seen by anybody, but when I open a brand new pair of $300+ boots, I would expect them to be completely clean inside and out. Put them on to try them out and they are extremely comfortable. Having practically silent steps despite how heavy these boots are. I'm working on my feet for 9+ hours a day as a mechanic and I can tell Thorogood will be a brand I will be revisiting. Willing to overlook the stained tags this time but next time I will definitely send them back for a new pair. 4/5 rating.

I wore these today at work( ibew electrician) today at LAX. They fit well but the leather is really stiff. Hopefully they don't take too long to break in. These are my first boots I paid over $90 for. I will try to remember to come back in a month for an update.Update Sept 2024...THESE BOOTS ARE TRASH! Insoles are garbage, the tounge and shaft of boot DIGS into my ankles, and the grip on the soles wore off withing 6 months. I'm a Comercial Union electrician so I'm on my feet all day... I paid over $300 for these boots and they were trash from the beginning. I thought I needed to break them in it's been almost 2 years and they still hurt my feet especially my toes
