Purchased two of those
We purchased two of these duvet and pillow protectors. I had to say not the best water-resistant bath value for money and handed person projecting our very expensive duvet

Doesn't russle like a crisp packet
I brought a brand new feather duvet and the 2nd night of it being on the bed my little boy had a rare accident. Thankfully its washable but it's too big for my machine and it's expensive to keep going to the launderette so I wanted a way to protect it.This is a nice cover, it doesn't russle like a crisp packet. In fact when I opened it in thought I had ordered the wrong thing as it did not look like it would be waterproof.I have tested it by pouring water on it and it just beaded and slid off, no water made it through to the duvet underneath. It does make it a little harder to get the duvet cover on as you have to wrestle the duvet the waterproof cover and then the duvet cover all into place. But once on it doesn't cause any issues with twisting. My only complaint is that it does make the duvet warmer. I appreciate for some that maybe a bonus but had I have known I would have brought a lower tog, though come the depths of winter it will be fine.Really recommend this, great for parent and pet owners.

Surprised
Sooooo, I read the reviews and bought it anyway. For £10 or so, I thought "why not try it" and if it was rubbish I'd not be buying another. I need 2 and a spare, so bought 1 as a tester. I'm using them because the puppy sleeps in bed and accidents happen & £20 for a duvet dry cleaning each time is painful when the dog peed on 3 duvets in a week!! Hence the purchase. The product has been tested for about 4 weeks now.Because of the reviews regarding it not being waterproof, I tested it first by sprinkling some water on it. None came through. Great. The dog has peed on it twice and none came through on either occasion. Extra great. I'm not sure if me sprinkling water on it first helped (like how you need to do with tents). If you found some came through you could use 2 (?) That way if any liquid gets through 1 it's unlikely to get through the 2nd.It's been washed twice after being peed on and held up well. Just wiping it down didn't remove the smell. It dried well and in about a day (February and March in UK with on/off weather and no drier). The zip does feel a tad flimsy and is possibly the first thing that'll break on it. The zip also runs the whole way across the bottom and is easy to put on (unlike duvet covers which has an inch or so either side, so is a pain). Tbh, I've had it a month and removed it twice to wash due to necessity and its still going which I wasn't expecting based on some reviews. If you're not taking it off daily, it should do OK but just be gentle with it.It's not noisy at all. The material feels familiar but can't quite place where I've seen it before, I'm sure I have pillow covers of the same material but not 100%. It doesn't crinkle or rustle and I'm a wriggler and a light sleeperIt's a good fit on my double duvet. It isn't massive or oversized. It fits my duvet just fine.Overall to this point it's very promising. It Is warmer but in a strange way at first. When I first get into bed I feel as though I've just walked into my nans house back in 1994 (you know when they had heating on full and the gas fire on too whilst cooking dinner so it was stuffy and unbreatheable) absolutely dripping wet and I feel like I'm producing enough condensation to fill a bucket. But it does soon pass. It's only for a few moments until I warm up. I've started putting a hot water bottle in first to make it adapt to temperature before I get in and it seems to help somewhat but to be honest, I have a similar sensation when I'm in a sleeping bag so it might be just me.A few reviews mention how it slips. This Is undeniably true. I used bull dog clips over the cover and duvet and then have the duvet cover over this and the bulldog clips. This stops the duvet slipping inside it. The clips are not noticeable as I sleep and forget they're there. However the whole duvet and waterproof cover slips inside the duvet a little bit each night. If you don't make your bed in the morning you'll notice it after a few days. I found giving it a good shake and repositioning it all SLIGHTLY in a morning sorts this out. It doesn't move drastically in one night, it's over a couple of days. And as I say I'm a wriggler in my sleep, plus there's the dog fidgeting too.I'm not sure if the zip is waterproof, I doubt it but not tested. Some reviews complained about this. Just try not to spill on that bit if you can, just as a precaution.Overall, it's worth it. I checked a lot of product reviews online first. This same one was on another website for £30+ with good reviews, this was top on amazon (if i remember rightly), or was up in the top 3 which is why i bought it. Some other brands were priced at £40+ and didn't fair well in the reviews so you might as well buy this at a fraction of the price.

Do Not Buy ! I'm Absolutely Furious ! Not 100% Waterproof As Claimed At All !!!!!
I'm Absolutely furious ! I purchased one of these to put on a brand new £30 Slumberdown double duvet as the listing states 100% waterproof duvet protector. I put it on trusting this claim - information. Then a couple of nights ago, during the night sometime. My little dog had been sick on the cover while lying on the bed. I purchased another one yesterday the - 9/1/2024, to put on & replace this one while it was washed. I then today once it arrived, started to remove the bedding to wash & put the new protector on thinking when i removed the protector the brand new duvet would be ok & been protected due to the listing claims they are 100% waterproof. How wrong I was ! It had all gone through the duvet protector & soaked all into the brand new duvet ! I'm so upset & furious about this & want to know - find out who's now responsible for this misleading listing & the claims that they are 100% waterproof ! Luckily I've not opened the new one & it's being returned straight back along with the 1st useless one I purchased ! This listing should be changed asap & the fake claims they are 100% waterproof protection !!!!! I've added photos of the damage that has been caused to the duvet along with pictures of the useless protector ! I would put no stars for this product if I could !

It works
I have a cat that occasionally pee's on the bed!! This works, so if an accident does happen I only have to wash the duvet cover and not the duvet / sheet below. Downside it it's hard to get the duvet into the corners, so you can't fluff it up as much with a good shake - however, I still recommend this product for the occasional accident. You could also just use it to put over the top of the bed during day use - and shut the pet out at night - just incase :o)
