This Is Us: Season 2

Season 3 was just coming on tv and I had always heard how good season 1 and 2 were but had never watched the show. Finally with season 3 taping, I ordered season 1 and 2 to watch to 'catch up'. This is a show about FAMILY. How just one small act can end up changing someones life for good (or bad), or how the same thing can happen to several people but they may all remember it differently. The show is about the past, present and future and very interesting to watch. Glad I finally got on board with "This is Us'. Bonus on the Dvd's is extra material and inside talks with the actors.

While there are moments when the scripts seem to regress to melodrama, and a few moments that seem more manipulative than truly emotional, overall this is a very well scripted, well acted, and well directed series. The cast is strong, and they know their characters well. It's nice to see a show where people can argue and bicker with each other, but then realize, "Wait, I love that person!"--and actually go and apologize. This series is well worth watching.

I have been watching this series on TV since it started (looking forward to each week for the next episode). Kept bugging my sister to watch. Now season 1 & 2 are no longer available on On Demand. Purchased the first 2 seasons so she could catch up, and she also LOVES the characters, story, and message in this show! (This is a regular family with real problems, but love and support each other through life.)

Up until the last fifteen minutes of the last episode, this show had me crying, cheering, and thinking it was better than the first season. Then in the last fifteen minutes it was like the writers got replaced by martians. I am not sure I will watch season three but I enjoyed this until it took a turn that just did not make any sense at all!

This show is superb in writing, acting and believability. Love binge watching the entire season 2. It's hard to watch season 3 as I have to wait and watch one show per week. The suspense just keeps on building as I wait to see what the surprise(s) the next show will reveal. Undoubtedly one of the best shows currently on TV.

DVDs are fine but the case is trashed.

Gave the entire series to my daughter for Christmas. Hasn't had a chance to begin watching them yet but I'm sure she will be very happy with them. Fast and safe shipping.
