Nostalgic looking
Very nostalgic bird cage. I thought I would paint it at first but as soon as I saw it I thought no the black looks very chic and I actually put another Crystal glass Lamp in the bottom to shine up

This is a lovely piece of decor
I had been looking for a planter for my dining room that would allow me to display my maidenhair fern and to put it in something so that my cat doesn't think it's a salad bar for his nibbling enjoyment. This piece works absolutely beautifully for that purpose and fits perfectly with the decor in my dining room, sprucing up a bare corner and providing a much more finished appearance to the room overall. The two pieces, the cage and the stand, arrived in great condition and after placing protective felt dots on the feet to make sure that it wouldn't damage the 100 year old hardwood floors in the dining room, I get it set up, my potted fern inside and my dining room decor was complete.I would highly recommend this for indoors or a sheltered outdoor placement. Because it is metal, if you wanted to put it outside permanently, you might want to go the extra mile and give it a coating of waterproof/rust proof sealant to make sure that it will remain in pristine condition. I am seriously considering getting another to place on my back patio to add a little more panache to the space which has a more eclectic feel with a variety of shapes, sizes and designs on the planters that I use out there.

The wrought iron birdcage was a nice addition to my spare bedroom. the assembly was a breeze, the quality was good, and it was sturdy and easy to move, and is light weight..

Just what I wanted
It looks great in my outdoor garden. I did spray it with some clear rust oleum once I bought it so hopefully it will last a while. I also used plastic ties to hold the top and bottom together as the wind would blow it open or knock it down. Buried the legs or put tent spike thing over the feet. But I think you’ll be happy with it. I added some fake flowers from Amazon and it looks great.
