Being a slight germaphobe, not sure where I saw this product advertised however I am very glad I purchased it! It takes about 7-10 minutes to clean the phone. Many reviews talk of an odd smell on the phone(s) once they've been cleaned, reading on the PhoneSoap website this is the bacteria that has been killed off - the more it smells, the more has been killed off. Seeing articles about peoples phones being germ ridden, this is a quick win for keeping them clean. Not limited to just phones, I've put keys and wallets in mine. It is a little quite shallow however you can easily fit a iPhone XS Max with a thick case easily in there.

The only way of know that something has happened is by the blue light appearing on top of the unit when you close the lid on the unit. I've noted that the light doesn't always come on and i have to play around with power cable until it illuminates. My phone comes out with a slight hint of an ozone odour after the 10 minute process has finished suggesting the ionisation of the oxygen in the air in the device. I haven't, as yet, taken a swab from the phone to culture (before and after) to see if it is in fact killing off 'germs'.

I received it yesterday, and I was able to see the lights while I was closing it. Obviously I cannot assure that it kills the bacteria (I don't have access to a lab), but hopefully it will do it.

Really good phone feels fresh and clean always no more Flu

I ordered this product 3 times and they sent me the wrone one every time. I got the phokesoap basic, rather than the phonesoap 3/proI liked that it was reasonably fast and that it steralised both sides of the phone at once (others require you to flip it over after each cycle). The dividing screen in the middle is plastic, I wish it were glass or something more substantial.Had I been sent the correct item I would have kept it but, after the 3rd return, I gave up hoping for the correct item and bought from a different brand.
