KovafoodWhole Organic Tiger Nuts (16oz) Super Food. Sundried I Tigernuts I Very Rich in Fiber and Vitamins | Rich Moisture Content NUT Variety

I've been eating tigernuts for a few months now but the brand that I usually buy was out, so I tried the KOVAFOODS organic tigernuts. These are from Nigeria, whereas my usual brand is from Spain. These tigernuts are a bit smaller than what I had before, and darker- a mat dark brown (not like the photo on amazon)- whereas the ones from Spain had a medium brown skin on the outside but lighter, mottled brown inside. These also were not chewy but sort of collapsed when you bite into them. All this would be fine, but the taste was very different. Perhaps they had gone bad? fermented? The ones from Spain had a chewy texture and tasted like fresh coconut (to me) but these tasted like they had some solvent on them. So, between the texture and the taste, I didn't care for them. Perhaps there are different types of tigernuts and these are the African ones? If you are looking for a chewy, fresh coconut like flavor, these are not the ones for you.

Wasn't to my taste. Just wanted to try em. Someone has to aquire a taste for these. Not for me. I will finish over time but won't buy them again.

Not an honest LISTING. This product is listed as organic, but there is no word on the package that says organic. I want to return it but Amazon Customer service wants me to send the picture to them to verify. Amazon has the picture of the package of this product but they take joy in making it hard for an 80 year old woman to get the refund nor return it back.

Not chewy and is not tasty is really not good waste of money.
