Covers greys very well.

Nice colour ( medium ash brown ) covered up a few grey hairs and great coverage. Can’t complain. Enough in a bottle & I have long hair !

So this semi- permanent dye is actually really good! Good points; The colour is lovely, darker than I thought it would be but still very nice with good coverage, I have longish but fine hair, and the whole bottle covered my entire head. After washing my hair 3/4 times the colour is still pretty much the same as the day it was dyed, so it seems to cling to the hair well and last nicely; longer than some permanent dyes I’ve tried before already.Bad points; after washing the dye off, my hair was a little bit dry, knotty and frizzy but manageable with products and styling so really wasn’t much of an issue for me, after about 3 washes my hair texture felt like it was back to normal.First picture is freshly dyed, second is after the first wash, third is today ( after 3/4 washes) and last is the before.

Have been using the previous version of this hair dye for years and after (eventually!) working out they had changed to this version was expecting the normal good results….how wrong could I be!The dye looked a good colour as it was sitting on my hair, but once washed out and dried it is patchy and hasn’t covered any grey - there is literally as much grey as before. The colour of the rest of my hair is very minimal too (dye was left on for longer then recommended as per how I usually dye my hair with the old version.) Hair looks worse then it did before dying.The dye itself has also left my hair feeling both dry and sticky feeling. Even though I washed it out throughly.Not impressed and will be looking for a new dye now after being a loyal user for years (plus the price has gone up considerably for a much less effective product!)

Can't comment on the quality of the product as this is hair dye used by my wife, but she has stated that the colour numbering on the box has changed and this us confusing / misleading. Ensure you check the colour codes correctly

I love this light ash brown colour, and it leaves my hair in great condition.
