Fun and Great Working model
This is one of the coolest little plastic models I have ever seen. I was worried after getting ripped off on an ad that had a metal working engine that turned out to be a solid resin piece of SXXX. This thing works great and is fun to watch! Instructions were good and went together well in ~2.5 hours. All Good!

Good teaching tool
Pretty cool and has an app to assist. The numbered bags are confusing, seeing as you have to open bags 1&2 to complete step 1.

Very cool building toy
It even ran like a mini-motor. My son loved building it.

Don’t buy
Very poor instructions and labeling of components, worse part of it all is missing component that we can’t get an newer from supplier and Amazon doesn’t want to hear about it.

Cool kit, nice for those who do not know how a motor works.
I like this, comes with everything you need. In my case, I know nothing about how an engine works, so I am looking forward to putting this together and learning in the process.

Falls apart
It’s a nice replica & concept is nice. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars,BUT unless you glue it,it will NOT stay together when you run it(HOT GLUE). Also directions are sort of vague & not really organized as in other models.

Fun little desk toy
This is probably the simplest engine brick set I've built so far, so if you're looking to get started with powered builds, this is a fun one. Like every engine brick set I've built so far, it is imperfect, and the slight variations in how the bricks fit will inevitably affect the function. So keep that in mind--this is not meant to function like an actual engine that is machined by high-precision tools, and costs thousands of dollars. This is a plastic engine whose precision is limited by both the manufacturing process as well as your own assembly. But as long as you're okay with that modest degree if imprecision, and are willing to invest a couple of evenings getting this all put together, you'll have a super fun, cool little desk toy that will impress all your co-workers. Now that I'm back working in the office one day per week, I've been rotating through all my engine brick sets on my desk. This is about the 10th or 11th engine set I've built, and my co-workers absolutely love them.As for the build itself, the bricks fit nicely, but you have to take some extra time and make sure they are aligned almost perfectly and pressed together very firmly. And you need to follow the instructions carefully, because the bricks don't come apart easily once they're together. The instructions are well illustrated, so it's not too difficult. Overall, these little engine brick sets are just awesome. They look cool and the fact that they actually work is just over the top. I wish I had a set like this when I was a kid, but I'm glad I have them now. Definitely worth picking up!
