Perfect Gift for Future Veterinarians!
My kid absolutely loves this vet kit. The modeling clay makes it so engaging - she spends hours creating animal organs and learning anatomy. The included tools feel sturdy and realistic, and the instruction cards are really well done. It's both educational and fun, which is a perfect combination. Great way to spark interest in animal science while having fun!

Keep looking, don’t buy
Left A LOT to be desired. I honestly wouldn’t buy keep looking if you have a little Dr. Doolittle like I have she was not impressed nor was I.

great for interested kids
This kit is definitely for older kids, but we really liked the art aspect of it! The molds for making animal organs—like the large intestine and spleen—are super interesting. There’s a lot of clay molding involved, which makes it a great hands-on activity, though I’d say it’s best done alongside an adult. We mainly got it for the molds because, honestly, they’re just so fascinating and weird in the best way. If you have a kid who’s really into anatomy, this would be a great pick (which I kind of do), but even just for the creative aspect, it’s a really unique and fun kit!

Interesting concept but a little difficult
My kids love learning about animals and love playing with clay so I thought they would enjoy this kit. It's an interesting concept where you use clay to make the animal organs and then place them inside these see through animal molds. It also comes with an informative poster and booklet where kids can learn more about the skeleton and muscular systems of these specific animals. With all of that said, I thought the clay was really difficult to work with. It was very crumbly and didn't easily fit inside the mold. I ended up doing a lot of it so my kids got bored of this quickly.

Science supplement for schoolwork, comes with bakeable clay to make permanent models
This kit is not for young kids to do on their own, but rather as a directed project to learn about actual animal anatomy in a creative way. It is a good intersection of fun and educational, but some of the steps can be a little tricky for those younger than tween/teens, and the written materials seem approachable but seem a bit youthful for the age that typically studies animal anatomy in schools. If you're used to playdoh or model magic clay or reusable modeling clay, this bakeable clay similar to Sculpy may seem different and difficult to use. It has a different harder texture and it gets crumbly when it is unworked or too warm. But it bakes at a low temp in the oven to make a solid, unmaleable, permanent plastic item. That is the benefit of this clay, but if you don't want to bake it to keep the completed models, or if you are working with younger kids or people with reduced grip or hand strength, you might want to substitute playdoh or another type of clay. The models were large enough that you can see the small details, and the molds have surface detail as well as the accurate shapes. This would be a good gift for a homeschooler, a tween or teen interested in science topics, a teacher or a parent.

Harder than it looks. Takes a minute to get used to.
My daughter wants to ve a vet when she grows up. I thought this would be great for her, and all in all it is. The dpugh kinda sticks to the molds and makes.it hard to make them.just right. But it is very helpful when learning about the different parts of the animal anatomy. I think it is worth the money but I also wish it was anlittle easier to use.for littler people.
