Works great. I bought them for a camping trip but I'm considering keeping a couple in the car for emergency use too. It's really easy to use, tear off the top, put your food inside, pour water up to the level marker, wait a few minutes and you're good to go.I measured the temperature these heaters reach with an IR thermometer and I was seeing over 70C when it was cooking the meal. My food came out around about 56C after the required time so it wasn't boiling hot but it was warm enough. You will want to eat the food immediately after the amount of cooking time has expired otherwise it won't be so enjoyable.But overall very pleased, with the price and the outcome. We will take these on our camping trips. Wayfarer meals fit inside them perfectly.I'm a little bit confused by the re-sealable label when the instructions tell you not to re-seal it. Perhaps it's for disposal? no idea.

Great convienience!, just pop your MRE meal in pouch as directed, make sure its domewhere safe as bag swells up and gets very hot!.Adds a couple of quid to.price of having a hot meal, but well worth it!.Recommended

These things are great and work very well if used correctly. Only problem is that when I go shopping now I'm always on the lookout for suitable shelf stable foods item I can use in the bags. Tip 1: don't put to much water in. What I found is that about 60ml is ok. Tip 2: peel back the little sticky label tab thingy that will hold the bag shut when cooking BEFORE you put the water in. Tip 3: After activation leave it alone and wait a least 15 minutes to allow your choosen meal to heat fully before you open the bag. To summarize a great bit of kit to keep in the car with a homemade mre ration kit. And fun too!

I was a bit sceptical weather these would work, however after us ring them with myReady meals found them to be excellent at heating the food pouches.Just follow the detailed instructions on the packet and foods hot and ready in 12 min..It states you need to put them in a box of some discription to retain heat while cooking,I just rapped mine in a ground sheet which worked a treat..Would recommend this product if your not keen on eating cold meal packets..

Works great, FRHs as described. Very easy to use as one should expect. Reaches full temperature within 60 seconds and staus hot well beyond required 10 minutes.

Great product and so handy to have, one tip I recommend trying out one outside at home first just to get the hang of it first.

Can’t leave zero stars - but if I could I would. I’m currently camping in Snowdonia and I’m on my third attempt - these don’t work. None of them. I’m starving, I’m wet and I’m frozen. None of these have fired up.Seriously - avoid and try a different brand.I’ll be asking for my money back.I’ve used plenty of these before, genuine military issue and branded - never seen this before.Frozen and hungry. Cold curry for me tonight.

1/ There are a lot more money than the hotpocket RRP.2/ They are the non-self contained version So you need to add water, for this price they normally come with a activation sachet.So overall, disappointed..
