I've had this for 6 months and have no complaints. It keeps the water cold, fresh, and clean. But the other night I happened to look at the inside of the cap and it was full of black mold! And I have been drinking that. I did not get sick, but I had to take the head apart to clean the black mold out because the light never gets to that part. Eventually, I had to tear out the silicone seal to get the black mold out from underneath it, but it does not need to be leak-proof, so that is not much of a problem. I advise people to check underneath that cap now and then to see if it's clean.

Costly toy and I wish they would have made it clean and easy to use but guess what you pay 130 plus and get this fancy toy to be on the corner, they will start smelling really bad in few days of use and oh man those smell are not good. I thought the UV was keeping the bottle free froms germs as well. I tested the UV and they work. they are fully charged as I can see in the app but still.Pros - Very costly toy2. This smart water bottle is a game changer for those of us that struggle to get enough water for proper hydration. I bought the Obsidian black color which looks very sleek and sharp. The box contains the bottle, the filter with the straw and the USB-C charging cord. I charged the unit for 6 hours before use. I'm very impressed with how long it holds the charge... I have only been charging once a week. I'm often picky with the taste of my water, so I was nervous about trying this. I'm glad to say the taste quality was very refreshing and nice. There were 2 reasons I finally went with this bottle... 1) the bottle has a self cleaning feature 2) the bottle has an app that tracks your daily hydration intake. Let me tell you both features blew my doubts out of the window within the first few hours of use. Please do not hesitate... I promise you will not regret buying this bottle.
