I use Cayenne around collector plant material and when planting bulbs. It deters squirrels, dogs and other creatures from digging around tender feeder roots and emerging new growth. Haven't opened the newly rec'd cayenne package yet, due to continued rain. Used last summer around newly installed collector specimen trees, existing shrubs, and hard to find perennials and it definitely prevented digging. Sprinkle around the base of plants on top of mulch and must reapply following rain showers in early through late summer. Great organic solution used somewhat sparingly.

It’s hot

Have no idea what it tastes like. I use it to keep stray cats out of my wife's flower gardens. Seems to work. Wear a mask when transferring it from the bag of spreading on a garden. If you don't expect to be sneezing like crazy!

Super hot, becareful when handle it. I use it for detering cats from my back and front yards pooping.

I use this because I have a flock of ducks that love chewing up my lawn and digging the the mulch. Nothing works but this cayenne powder it gets it done. Great quality affordable bit strong smell.
