The carpet is pretty thin and not too soft, but they are decent for what I need. The adhesive is strong. I did not need anything additional to lay these and keep them in place. They are a great value, and easy fix for my guestroom floor.

Durable, and will work fine for what I'm using them for. Could be an issue with getting them to interlock completely flush, for anyone needing a level surface. Just takes some time to get them to go together evenly.

Meah, not the best. Was low price and not well reviewed by others, and now I know why after getting these squares and putting them to use. Very difficult to pull the plastic backing away from the sticky side and like another reviewer said, yes, the glue used is sub par. Stick it once and if you need to pull the square up it will leave residue that's very difficult to remove.Another aspect is how thin the material used for the nap is. Within a few days of walking it will start to smush down and show a wear pattern. A few days. Not months or years. So low to no traffic areas are all you would want to use this for if carpet for a floor. Maybe they have a place as shelf liner or something like that though.

Absolutely horrible to remove! These carpet tiles were absolutely horrendous to remove. I had to use a special solution to get the sticky residue off the floor that was left behind when removing, I had to use several scrappers, I tried a blow dryer to apply heat to the adhesive, and it took HOURS to get the sticky residue off the floor. The tiles pulled off in pieces which made it very difficult to get the whole thing up off the floor and only doubled the time it took to remove and clean everything. I purchased two sets thinking these would last me long-term, but I would personally not recommend if you have pets or use these in high traffic areas. I would only buy these if you plan on never removing them lol!
