arrived damaged
Poorly packaged, arrived heavily chipped. Looks like a crushed candy cane was sprinkled into in the box. Can see a thick black coating under the chipped red and white enamel, and bare steel below the black layer. Otherwise, they looked nice and were the perfect size. Bummed out over this. I expected a durable premium product, but they couldn't survive shipping in their factory box. Hardly any cushioning. Flat tissue paper and tiny pieces of cardboard. Nothing protecting certain pieces from colliding in the box. Nothing between plates and the sides of the thin cardboard carton. A few folded pieces of cardboard, some peanuts, air bubbles, crumpled newspaper... anything could have prevented this. That's the part that stings. Was looking forward to these camp dishes.
