Good for skin appearance & Great to make yogurt!

I saw an immediate improvement in my skin appearance - especially in reducing effects of allergies and providing smoothness and even skin tone on my face.NOTE: It's also great for making both dairy and coconut milk yogurt. For coconut milk yogurt, it's best to use a good canned version of the milk with reduced oil and additives such as agar agar or guar gum and other thickeners.For dairy yogurt, I use a good quality grass fed powdered milk (4 cups powdered milk to 2 cups of filtered water and 4-8 tabs (3bn+ count each). Method: Scald the milk at 180-190 degrees F for 15mins then cool to 98 degrees F and once you can comfortably place your index finger in the milk mix, its ready for you to make a slurry with 1/4 cup of same warm milk with at least 4-8 tabs gently crushed and mix in, stirring gently with a wooden spoon and gently mix into the milk in a 1 quart glass bowl. Ferment the mixture for 36-48 hours. DO NOT STIR the fermenting mixture while it is setting as you will end up with curds & whey! If this happens, you can simply use the runny mess to make a proper batch of yogurt.

I think it's helping me lose weight
I've been struggling to lose weight the past year and a half, when it used to be really easy for me as long as I counted calories. I finally did some research on probiotics and read that L. Gasseri can be associated with weight loss, so I swapped this for my generic L. Baccilus that I'd been taking for years.Now, I have also been going to the gym more, but not that much, and I still am seeing the scale go down more quickly since I started taking these a few weeks ago. Amazingly, I've even been eating "forbidden" foods that I'd relegated to occasional treats like white bread and frozen meals, but still seeing the scale consistently go down. I don't know how it works, whether it decreases your appetite so you're not eating that much or actually alters your metabolism somehow, but this has been a very encouraging development for me.

I will not reorder.
I do not have a lab or a microscope to check if the bacilius is alive but when I put them in milk I do not see it changing at all which makes me think the bacilius is dead or something. It is lactobacil which means it will live in milk like yogurt. And it does not. Or at least I have no evidence. I make my own yogurt so I know how to do it. I put controll with yogurt and the yogurt is tick in the morning while the jars I put a pill in are liquid for another two days. they start culturing when I open them which means they catch bacteria from the air. not the pill.

Particular Strain used in this product
I contacted the company to find out what strain is used in L Reuteri. It is LR08L. Gasseri strain is LG08They make delicious cultured milk products, but they are not the strains discussed in the Super Gut book, just in case anyone was wondering. However, these strains also have wonderful health benefits when I researched them.

Healing your Gut
I have been taking this probiotic first thing in the morning before a meal.I noticed that my appetite had decreased, and I was using it because I do have problems with digestion and histamine reactions with certain foods.Slowly, I have been eating low inflammatory diet along with the probiotic. I’m able to enjoy my meals without discomfort.

Good for making fermented dairy/yogurt.
Made my first yogurt/fermented dairy using this and it turned out as expected. And you can take these as daily supplement as needed.

Anyone had success making yogurt with this product?
I have fermented whole milk using this product with the addition of innulin. Both batches separated before reaching 24 hrs incubation at 100 degrees F. The top layer smells ok but looks like cheese not yogurt. Not sure if the tablets are effective if taken directly as a supplement.

Jury’s out but the outlook is very positive!
I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks…don’t want to raise any unwarranted optimism, everyone’s microbiome is different, but my appetite has diminished by at least 50%, I’m not bingeing, not craving, and hopefully we’ll see some pounds disappear. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family, so good luck!
