Being safe
I love the fact to have a safe. It works well if you only use the key, but the fingerprint opens to anybody’s fingerprint. It doesn’t have to be yours, but if you set it up for a fingerprint opens automatically to anybody’s fingerprint the keypad I haven’t tried because of the fingerprint, but the key part works well

Update of: Don't buy this piece of junk!
UPDATE: After reading my previous review of this safe, the seller contacted me indicating their concern that I may have received a previously returned item and offered to send me another one. Ordinarily I would have declined, but I was impressed by the build quality of the safe and really just wanted one that wasn't damaged and actually functioned properly. The seller sent me a new safe a few days ago and this one functioned flawlessly straight out of the box. The weakness of these kinds of safes seems to be the electronics and I initially ordered the Day1 because there were few if any negative comments on the electronics. Hopefully it will continue to operate as well as it does now.

Do not buy
I set the finger print and code and this machine will open for anyone’s finger print or code. It is absolutely useless and it is past the return date so I am throwing the whole safe away. It does not serve a purpose if anyone can open it at any time

Works well for small items and documents. Setup is fairly simple. The safe is well made and finished nicely. Overall I am pleased with the results.
