Seems accurate, which I think is the most important. I compared the results three times with a pH pen, another brand of strips, and a liquid indicator kit. Definitely more accurate than the cheap kits. I think it’s easy and fast. The only value that changed every time (I didn’t do anything in between reads) was the Total Hardness (TH). So not sure what to think about that, but it fluctuates about 30 ppm each read.

Best water tester we have ever used. We rent hot tubs and love this product to maintain clear water for our guest. I love that the test strips can still be used as color guided should the device fail. Our last unit by AccuChek was good but we cant find a replacement for the device and now I am stuck with hundreds of strips I can't use. I would have given this tester 5 stars but it does eat batteries quickly, so we bought rechargeable batteries. Not a big deal, it's better for the environment anyway.

Total Chlorine, Free Chlorine and pH are nice and seem accurate. However TH Cya and AlK always display a readout of "greater than" or "less than" values. This is obviously not helpful, especially if the displayed value is outside an acceptable range. This because you have to know by how much, so the correct amount of chemicals can be added to the pool water to bring it into balance. Further, displaying "greater than" 40 for CyA makes no sense either, since its in the acceptable range. Very confusing.

Got a new Swim Spa this summer and had no idea how to manage the chemicals. My brother gave me a little test set, but sometimes it’s really hard to tell what the color is. Once I figured out what the manufacturer suggested as good levels, it was really helpful to have this test kit. I used it once or twice a week, and although I had to go inside to take a picture of it, it worked to upload every time and gave me excellent advice.My only complaint is that it always refers to their own brand of products. I received a years supply from the manufacturer of my Swim Spa, so I kind of have to guess how much of the other brand I have to put in.Charged this when I first got it, and only had to recharge once this summer. Overall, it’s very easy to use, and I found that my Swim Spa was sparkly and did not run into any issues with algae or cloudiness.

This machine broke after I used it maybe 10 times. Was able to return it. The customer service is very good on it but most of my numbers (after taking pool water in to the store) were more than 10% off the margin of error.

Great product and very accurate to the test pool stores do.

Game changer for testing pool and hot tub! Much easier than just eyeing it! The if it’s off they tell you how to correct it.
