Campbell's Sipping Soup, Spicy Tomato Soup, 11.1 oz Microwavable Cup

It is tomato soup with a "kick". I wish it came in more economical and larger sizes.

Mmmhmm good! This is hot hot hot but delicious. I can't wait to try it again in winter when a few sips is going to warm me from my lips to my toes. I'm not the biggest spicy person, but I like a little bit of kick. This certainly has that.It's a very easy lunch to pack for my husband as well, since there are no dishes required and he can just pop it in the office microwave.Convenient and hot-to-go!

Not what I expected— when I was teaching school, I would keep these Campbell’s soup at Hand stocked up at my desk…. I really enjoyed them especially the creamy tomato. In fact, I was looking for the creamy tomato when I came across this spicy tomato…. I love spicy so I was excited. Unfortunately, this is the worst Campbell’s product I’ve ever had. Honestly, it tasted like a bloody Mary…. It had no savory quality…. It had a lot of heat and that’s the only good thing I can say about it…. It was not a good flavor. It was just a hot flavor. I didn’t even eat half of it…. I gave up. Very disappointed. You couldn’t make me eat the other one I have in my cabinet…. it’s free to anybody that wants it.

Soup is hotter then I expected. But it's still good.

Pretty much every Campbell's soup is utterly loaded with sodium, even the "reduced sodium" varieties. This is unfortunate as I try to watch my salt intake and my spouse is on a strict diet and can't eat this soup at all. For those less concerned with that issue, the soup is tasty and smooth, prepares quickly and effortlessly, and pairs nicely with a side of cheese and crackers. I grew up eating humble tomato soup, and the change up here of adding some spiciness is a novel and enjoyable departure from the traditional tomato soups they produce.This will be a one time order for me due to the high sodium content (630mg) but if they'd offer a truly reduced sodium variety (at say, 150mg) I'd be all in on it because I like the spiciness paired with the familiar tomato-y taste.
