I love this poof. It needed two bags of polyester fill. The leather is gorgeous the style exactly what I wanted. Very satisfied with this product so far. The value for the money is good. Two proofs came in one packet. Leather and binding seems sturdy so far. The smell is authentic leather. Sturdy enough to sit on filled with two bags of polyester fill or handy for a foot rest. They came packaged very securely and tightly in a small box. They unfolded into really nice sized product. I’m going to spray mink oil on them to protect the leather from use.

My first review was taken down and I'm not sure why according to the community guidelines, but here we go again you guys..I'm happy with my purchase! It came within a week, much faster than expectations. There is a smell associated with the leather--that's what real, treated leather should smell like. If you don't like the idea of that, you should get something made of faux leather but there are still a myriad of chemicals used in similar processes, so you win some, you lose some.The seams are all intact--no loose threads. It seems tough. They do come unstuffed (because could you imagine getting 2 fully stuffed poufs that measure 20" x 13" in the mail?), so I'm working on finding a local upholstery shop to help to fill them up and I can come back to update my review.My order came with a letter from the company shedding insight on its employees. They seem to be doing a lot to help their vulnerable community members by providing them with paid work and I really like supporting local artisans to make a difference when I can.

Bought these as decorative seating/footrest for the living room. They are well-made and beautiful with great detail in the stitching but I can't use them in the house due to the heavy tannin smell used to treat them. Even with multiple cycles of cleaning and detoxifying with dish detergent and baking soda, then leaving them outside for days on end to air out, the smell lingers and won't go away. It's too bad that tannins are toxic and I can't use the item. Not ideal to say the least.

The poufs I ordered we’re supposed to be a little darker but the color is still beautiful and can be darkened with some leather conditioner. One pouf (first 2 pictures) had noticeable marks the other pouf (3rd picture) was practically perfect. They definitely have an interesting smell that resembles dog vomit but I hope with time it goes away.I think for the price, these 2 leather poufs are a great deal which is why I gave it 5 stars.The shipping also took way longer than originally indicated so if plan accordingly. Still, don’t know where else you can find leather poufs for $50 each.

Product is study and well sewn, however they smell AWFUL! I have had them outside on my patio and they are swarmed with flies!

These poufs arrived a month and a half early, what a great surprise! They're perfect for my "cabana in the making." I read that some people complained of an odor, but mine had virtually no odor at all, even after putting my nose up to them. The stitching, leather, and zippers are very sturdy. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

I have had these for about 6 weeks now. They look great but they have a very strong chemical odor. Not like a leather protector but a strong chemical. Also has taken about $60 worth of stuffing and they still are not where I want them to be. They look great though and serve their purpose.
