Sturdy and stylistic elevated stand for small bluetooth speakers
This little speaker stand is solid metal and features a silicone pad on the base to protect surfaces. I saw the Marshall bluetooth speaker in the listing photos and was all excited because this is perfectly matched to the style of the speaker. However, I did not know that there is a Marshall Emberton bluetooth speaker. It looks nearly identical to the Middleton version that I own, however the Emberton is apparently a much smaller bluetooth speaker, so the Middleton just barely fits on this stand. There are claims that this speaker stand enhances the sound by the merit of elevating it a few inches. This is complete nonsense. It is true that a good speaker stand can help tighten up muddy-sounding bass and having the speaker elevated to a position more in-line with your ears will make it sound clearer. But this is not that type of speaker stand. The Marshall speaker is a beast and very well designed to throw sound to enhance the sonic field by placement of the speakers in the cabinet. The bass response is also very good and designed to work with the speaker sitting on a shelf, etc. In my tests, I sampled a variety of music and tested in a variety of spaces with the speaker sitting and on the stand. For the Marshall Middleton speaker, the stand actually lowered the bass performance. Perhaps it will help enhance the bass response and sound quality for the smaller Emberton speaker. I ended up giving this stand to my son-in-law who has a Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker and the stand fits perfectly and elevates the speaker off the table and does sound better. The stand is well made and looks great. Very simple design. Nice, black paint and the included pad for the bottom of the speaker make this an easy recommendation. Just be aware of how small this actually is. I always read the reviews before buying on Amazon and like you, I appreciate honest, thoughtful reviews that help me make an informed decision. I hope you find this review helpful!

A speaker stand that hits all the right notes
I never thought I'd need a stand for my Marshall bluetooth speaker until I came across this eye-catching design from Marbleholic and thought "hey why not"! When I received it, I was pleasantly surprised by the form - the sleek metal finish is outstanding, and the height/width is just the right fit.If you want to add an element of design as well as have a nice solid stand for your speaker, this is the one to get. It perfectly harmonizes with the Marshall Emberton (but honestly could work for any portable of similar dimensions), while elevating the sound quality. Worth every penny!

A subtle but luxurious stand that is elegant, modern and sturdy
A simple stand that can be used for multiple purposes, not just as a speaker stand. In satin finish, the stand is fully metalic. Heavy, substantial, and solid for its size. The hand-made stand comes with a self-adhesive rubber pad that sticks to the bottom plate/foot. That’s a great design detail, as the pad will help to absorb vibration and prevent it from moving about when you are blasting your music. With the speaker on top, the speaker is elevated about 10cm/4 inches, allowing the speaker to project better, with a slightly more open and wide sound. It’s a subtle but luxurious accessory for that little speaker you want to showcase. For nitpicking, the craftsmanship (underneath) is a bit under par. For example, at the point where the bar connects to the top plate, the soldering marks are inconsistent and not befitting of a product at this price point. That said, this blemish is not visible unless you turn the stand upside down, when you use it as intended. But, again, at this price point, quality and workmanship should be a big part of the purchase decision. That’s why I am marking it down one star, despite it’s great presentation overall.

Versatile Stand But The Speaker Base Could Be Wider & Rims Would Be Useful
I do not yet have a Marshall Emberton speaker (although I'd like to get one), but have other speakers for which a stand would be useful. I ordered this thinking the speaker base (the part the speaker rests on) would be thicker, but it is only 2" wide and there are no rims. Even if I put silicone pads on the speaker base, I don't have a lot of confidence that any speaker might not fall off once the speaker starts pumping out some deep bass. This is fairly well-constructed although the Black Matt (sic) finish attracts fingerprints and the soldering underneath is sloppy. You won't see the soldering when the stand is functioning as it should, but for the price, I would expect better.I'm finding this stand useful but do wish the speaker base were wider and/or had 45 degree rims, magnetic strip, or some sort of cradle construction to help hold things in place better. Based on overall construction and price/value, I'd rate this 3.5 stars.
