Shiny Shiny Shiny!
I'm an avid wooden ship modeler but this metal version caught my eye. I liked the size and sheer visual beauty of the stainless steel. The construction is simply following the directions and bolting it together, so not much creativity there. Nonetheless, the process was satisfying and I was very pleased with the end result. And kudos to the designers! I'm a bit of an amateur engineer myself, and to get so many pieces to line up is no small task, let alone to have many flat plates go together and resemble the complicated shape of a ship ....it's true art. Some of the construction was challenging and for this reason I wouldn't recommend it for young children. The difficulty is holding a very small nut in place while attempting to start the threading of the bolt. I advise getting really familiar with the tools provided and tapping into your extra patience. A trick of using a little scotch tape to hold the nut to the wrench helped me. Also, make sure the bolts are tight before going to the next steps as access may be blocked for going back to tighten. In my opinion, the end result is spectacular! .. really something to see, especially in sunlight. I found a place of honor by my desk that catches the light and provides a black backdrop to further highlight the ship.NOTE: I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 for the sellers pricing. this model exists from several sellers and had I not purchased it on a one day sale, I would have paid way too much. So, worth some shopping or waiting on a Sale. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Very difficult.
Bought this for my son as he puts Legos together in no time. The only problem I have found are the nuts and bolts are so tiny and sometimes difficult to put together in certain areas. Love the challenge it gives to him though.
